The conference room was then filled with applause. I felt relieved as I saw the higher-ups nodding in contentment to my overnight-made presentation. I always feel confident whenever I report because I've been doing it for a long time now since I was in this position, but it was my first time presenting with just a night before preparation. And feel like a bad ass for getting away with it.
After the successful event, BossHyung congratulated the team by opening one of his favorite champagne during lunch. We were toasting our glasses when my phone rang so excused myself and went outside to answer it.
"PD-nim?" I answered
"Y/n-ssi, do you have time to spare right now? I would like to have a little meeting with you." he asked
"Sure. I'll be at the office." I replied
"No need. I'm in the car just in front of your office." He said and right then I saw him in a black car as the windows rolled down. I crossed the street to approach it and he opened the car door for me to get inside.
"I have another plan in mind. It's a crazy one but I have thought about it non-stop so I thought I would try doing it seeing as it would not harm anyone. But it's still up to your decision." He stopped to assure that I was following what he's saying. I nodded for him to continue.
"If you would, I'd like you to live in our dorms." He said.
"What?!" I was surprised indeed. It's unbelievable.
"I was thinking that maybe if you live with the boys in the dorm, you'd have more time to lay out our plan and also it would be more convenient when you start teaching them in the future. Also, if possible, I would like you to have the same schedule with the boys so you can be with them and teach them during a free time- 24/7. But ofcourse! I'll give you the freedom to make time for your projects and visit your office if necessary." He added. I was thinking too much to reply. "I'm giving you time to think. Tell me if you've decided." I just stared at him, still processing his words.
Back at the office, my co-workers are still in the party mode that they barely notice my emotionless face. I went up to our boss and asked if I could go home for the day. My thoughts are noisy enough that I couldn't deal with the music blasting in our building. My boss gave me his permission, persuaded by my reason that I haven't slept last night because of the presentation today.
It was my first time coming home early after what feels like ages that forgot how it would look like in daylight. I was out for work much often than at my apartment that it still looked like just when how I arrived for the first time. I have it cleaned by the housekeeping that's why it didn't seem old.
My room was the only place that looked so used with all the papers on the desk and shelves, paper rolls standing everywhere, and other equipments and materials I needed for my work. I sighed at the sight as I placed my bag on the bed. I sat on my office chair and opened my laptop just to see a wallpaper of our family picture. It was taken weeks before I flew here in Korea and apparently started a new life. I think I've missed them so much that I clicked Skype and conveniently, my sister was online.

I almost cried when I saw them waving, but I didn't want them to worry so I just smiled and waved back. They asked many questions and I answered them diligently. I waited for some time before I asked what I came for. They all went into thinking mode and the silence almost deafened me.
"It's up to you really. It's your life y/n." Mom said
"Wherever it is, as long as it's convenient and you're happy with it." Dad said
I just nodded, taking a note of their advices. Time was fast and it's already dinner time. Both of my parents bade goodbye as they prepared to eat and probably sleep afterwards. But my sister insisted on staying because she wasn't hungry. We talked for a little bit longer but my responses were short. My mind was still not at ease and I think she noticed that our parents' advices didn't satisfy me.
"You know what, if I was you, I will go live with them. It's just like transferring to a new home, and having a new schedule, and get to live with you idols, isn't that enough reason? I know you like BTS, like since college and this is like a huge opportunity for fans like you and you're just wasting it away because of your over thinking mind. The CEO also offered a nice ordeal. And-" she was cut off when my mom called for her to eat already. My mom's always been like that, and I smiled at the thought of her still doing it.
"Ugh. I gotta go. Just go and live a life for once." She groaned and she pushed herself to stand away from her laptop. "and get a boyfriend will ya! Bye!" she shouted before ending the call. I just rolled my eyes in disbelief.
"That disrespectful bitch." I jokingly cursed at my sister. I always find her words disrespectful but to think about it, she's actually right.
I went to the kitchen to make some dinner. It's been a while since the last time I cooked proper meal in this kitchen. It's not like I hate cooking, I actually like it. Back in my home country, I often cook for my family because they also liked my cooking. Mom taught me some baking too. Before laziness come, I started cooking. After a while, as I waited for my dish to cook, I decided to call Bang PD-nim and tell him my decision.
