Even if the boys were packed with schedules, they still managed to give time in celebrating a member's birthday. And today is yet another member's birthday. After some tapings and individual interviews, one by one, they went into a waiting room and hide. The staff planned for the birthday boy to be interviewed last so the others could prepare. I helped with the preparation mostly but I didn't wait with the boys, knowing it will be filmed just like they usually do. And so the lights were off and waited patiently until the door opened, revealing a confused birthday boy.
''What-why is it dark?" he asked and search for the switch. The lights came on and,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM SEOKJIN!" we all greeted with poppers in our hands, and they lighted up the candle with its age on it '30' just to tease how old he is already. They also prepareda party hat just for him. Filmed messages and giving of gifts were done even though the others said they have given him already or they're still going to buy some.
The surprise ended and the staff began to clean up the area, wrapping up things and packing the materials as the manager said it's time to go. We were piling up the van, sitting to my usual sit but this time Jungkook sat beside me. Just then, my phone buzzed and a message came.
Handsome Student: Where's my gift? :3
Me: You have many of them.
Handsome Student: How 'bout your gift for me?
Me: I am your gift.
Handsome Student: tssssh
Handsome Student: okay, you sure 'bout that?
Me: Never mind. I'll but you one.
I actually forgot your birthday. Sorry
Handsome Student: :'(
Me: Ttyl <3
Handsome Student: </3
"Who're you texting?" Jungkook asked, peeking on my phone. I immediately put it back in my pocket.
"Uhh, my boyfriend?" I answered mentally slapping myself for telling him.
"You call your boyfriend 'Handsome Student'??" he said it as if it was disgusting. Everyone in the van snorted which resulted for my to slap his arm.
"Shut up! you-you saw it?" I whispered and asked nervously, he might know it was Jin.
"Yeah. But just the name, I didn't read your texts. I know It'sinvasion of privacy" he smile to reassure me.
"Oh." I sighed in relief. "You're a smart kid...and respectful too. Keep it up!" I complimented.
I thought he's going to stop and not talk to me the whole trip again but he suddenly started a new conversation. He opened up to me a bit and also told me stories and I find it funny and entertaining. We clicked too quickly that by the end of our ride, he let me pinch his cheeks and I've been allowed to call him Kookie. Right after we arrived, I rushed to my room and texted Jin.
Me: Meet me at the rooftop later.
Handsome Student: I'm still sad. But what time?
Me: Whenever you're ready Handsome ;)
Handsome Student: are you flirting with me?
Me: Maybe? ;)
Handsome Student: ew
Me: How dare you.
Handsome Student: kidding. I'll be there after everyone's asleep.
