Chapter 14//Camera Light//

My crush talked to me today and he knows my name so im very happy rn. And im inspired from the moment now so why dont i write another chapter for my lovely readers❤️

I took out a vase from kitchen and put the flowers in it and took it to my room. I noticed that they were all my favorite flowers. Of course he knew my favorite flowers.

Phone rangs...

Beth: Guess what just happened!
Me: What?
Beth: Harvey called me and he asked me to go to the funfair with him this friday!
Me: Wait! Since when you two are speaking?
Beth: Since the Halloween Party.
Me: And you didn't told me that
Beth: Sorry I forgot.
Me: No problem. What did you said?
Beth: Of course i sad yes! He said you could come too and he can bring Max if you are coming. Can you come?
Me: Oh, we are going to have a family dinner this friday. So i wont be able to come.
Beth: Okay. Jess?
Me: Yes?
Beth: I think i have a crush on Harvey.
Me: I knew that! Good for you.
Beth: Thanks
Me: I gotta go. I think my parents arrived.
Beth: Bye
Door knocked...
Me: You can come in.
Mom opened the door.
Mom: Hi sweety, im prepearing the diner now.
Me: Okay
Mom: Oh, the flowers are beautiful. Who bought them?
Me: What? Those? From a friend.
Mom: A special friend.
Me:Mom!
Mom: Okay, Just kidding!
She laughed and left the room.

I took out my books and did my homework and stuff like that. A simple night after all of that action.

Mom: The dinner is ready!
Me:Coming!

After the dinner, i lay down my bed and stared at the ceiling like in the songs. And back to the old thoughts.
Max or Dylan. I cant like 2 people at the same time. I should choose so i dont want to be heartbroken after all.

Few days later...
It's Thursday and days are passing so fast.
Dylan is now an official student to our school. That means im going to see him more.
We didn't talk much but i think we will.
In the other hand, I was getting along pretty well with Max.
And as the big news, i think Beth and Harvey are dating. They talk a lot lately. Im not jealous that my best friend has a boyfriend of course. Im happy for her.
Im too young to be a leading role in a tangled love story. Im not pretty sure if thats a love story either.

There is the singing thing tomorrow. Im quite excited for that.

Beth: Lost in thoughts huh?
Me: Yes. Im going to ask you something.
Beth: Go ahead.
Me: Are you dating with Harvey now?
Beth: Im not sure about that. He never asked it. But he told me that he likes me.
Me: Okay
Beth: Max, Dylan and Harvey are entering to school.
Me: So?
Beth: I dont know, i just wanted you to know.
Me: Thanks
Beth: They look so cool by the way.
Me: You need to get used to it.

I turned and looked at them.

Me: I shall get to the class. Bye!
Beth: Okay bye!

I entered the class. It was science lesson. I came quite early because there were a few people. I sat down to my regular seat. Then Dylan and Max came in. Max was my deskmate but Dylan set next to me. I tried not to look at him.

Max: Dylan, here is my seat.
Dylan: Oh, sorry.
He stand up and sat down to the seat behind mine. He came closer to me and whispered.
Dylan: Good morning.
I turned my head and our faces were too close.
Me: Thanks

The lesson finished after 30 minutes and the school finished after 5 hours.
I went home take a quick bath and sat down to the living room. Mom and dad were on a dinner together so i was alone at home it was dark and i was watching one of my favourite shows, American's Got Talent. I know we are in England but im from America.
I was sitting on the couch with my pjs with a bucket of popcorn.
There was a large window on our living room and suddenly a camera light came from there. It was like someone was taking a photo. I was a bit terrified at the moment. I stood up and walked to the window. Someone must be taking the photo of the house or something. But there were no one on the street. Then i heard a bush sound. Maybe a cat? I dont know! Im scared.
