Chapter 13/ The Note From Dylan

       Me: What do you want me to say?
   Dylan: I don't know. Something?
  Me: Okay. Im so happy that your sister got out of coma.
I hope she doing well. On the other-side i feel angry and sad because you thought i felt pity for you.
   Dylan: I dont know what to say. Im sorry. It was all because i needed a new life.
   Me: I wish it could be that easy to forget everything i went through with a simple apologize.
  Dylan: So i will find a way to...
  Max: Can someone tell me whats going on here?
Dylan looked at Max.
  Dylan: Yeah, i might have something to tell you.
He itched his neck.
Me: I dont know you but clearly i don't have! Im not his best friend and i'm not the one who is lying to him. So the stage is yours!
Dylan: Um... so, I and Jess knew each other from middle school. When i came here, to England, no one knew it. At least non of my friends in America knew it. I just vanished and thats why she was shocked to see me there. She wasn't expecting it.
Max: But why didnt you told me that before?
Dylan: You never asked
He didn't told that we were dating. I dont know why he didn't. Maybe its because he didn't wanted things to get more complicated.
Actually i felt glad that he didnt tell that. I dont want to ruin my relationship with Max. I still like him though. Just when Dylan showed up i realized that if i loved Dylan, the things that im feeling to Max shouldn't be called love.

A few days later...

Today is Thursday, History lesson, nothing special about the day. But there is one thing, Dylan will be sign up for our school in Monday.

I always enjoyed History lessons but know my head was filled up with thoughts so i couldn't concentrate to the lesson properly. Thanks to my dad being a History teacher, he can teach me the things I didn't understand.
   The bell rang. The students -including me- left the classroom. I went next to my locker. Beth was also there.

Beth: Hey!                              
Me: Hi, how's your day going?
Beth: Boring! I need some action in my life. Oh, by the way there is a singing competition/activity next Friday.
I know you are a really good singer, can you join it please?

Only a few people knew that i can sing. Dylan and Beth are two of them.

Me: Okay, I'll think about it.
Beth: I never thought this will be that easy.
Me: I didnt said yes.
Beth: You didn't said no either.

I thought about the idea of singing on the stage. I have never been on a stage before.
Max will be there singing too. It didnt sound like a bad idea. There will be Dylan too.
Still not that bad.

Me: You know what, yes!
Beth: Thats my girl
We laughed.

A few hours later...

Im finally at home after a boring simple day. My mom and dad told me that they were going ro be late because they had a meeting.

Door knocked. I went down stairs and opened the door. It was a deliveryman, he was holding some flowers.

Deliveryman: Hi, are you Jessica Reed.
Me: Yes.
Deliveryman: This flowers are sent for you.
He gave me the flowers. I was shocked and wondered who was it from. I put the flowers to the sideboard.
Deliveryman: Can you please sign here?
I signed the paper.
Me: May I ask who sent this flowers?
Deliveryman: There must be a card on the flowers. You can look it up from there.
Me: Oh, thanks.
Deliveryman: Have a nice day!
Me: You too.

I closed the door. I pick up the flowers from the sideboard and move to the kitchen. There was a note attached to the bouquet. I read the note.
"First of all thank you and sorry for everything. I was careless before i saw you in England. You made me change back to old me. Not the stupid one who thought you felt pity for. The one who loved and cared about you. You have every right to be mad at me but i promise you i'll fix it all. ~Dylan"

I cracked a smile. I think i am ready to forgive him any moment but im afraid that he's gonna broke my heart again. I dont know what to do. I just know that my feelings for him wasn't gone. I still feel somethin for him. I knew it fron the beginning. But i never accepted it.
