I let her through my walls, she was past all the gates and locks. I trusted her with my life and weaknesses. I broke down in her arms, she's my little sister now. That's a bond that would never break, it would last forever. The world around us grew darker and darker. I sensed a demonic presence somewhere in the area. The wind picked up and despair seemed to fill me.
"Lily leave."
I gently push her off of me. It's too late, the world around us isn't the one she knows, it the one I know. It's Hell.
I push her behind me and wait. The shadows swirled around in a circle in front of us. They formed someone that had died before my eyes years ago. My body frozen at the sight of the figure before us. Tears threaten to fall but I held them bad. I stood up.
"How?" I asked.
"Aren't happy to see me Alex?"
"Of course I am," I said, shocked at his tone.
"Who is this?" Lily asked as she came up next to me.
"It's my brother, Richard."
My mind was spinning, he had died. I was happy to see him but this didn't seem right.
"Alex, let's play a game. Like we use to remember? Where the good guy fights the bad guy. There's a twist though, one of them lives and the other dies."
Richard said with menacing eyes.
My eyes widened and my bold ran cold. I couldn't hurt him.
"Let me fuel your damn anger, Alex. I can tell your feelings are getting in the way." He said.
With a flick of his hand, vines sprouted out of the ground and latched onto Lily. Shocking her and bruising her. I felt my anger to bubble up. He appeared behind her and was about to claw her back.
Imeditaly I reacted and slammed my fist into his stomach. Brother or not, he Wasn't gonna touch Lily, as he was down, I ripped the vines off of Lily and pushed her behind me. In the distance I saw him stand up, amused and angry.
"Fucken bitch. I didn't know you were actually strong. This will be a lot more fun!" He yelled. I felt my blood boiling, the pain was excutating. He charged but he didn't charge at me he went past me. I turn around to see him a few feet from Lily. Her eyes are wide, I launch a black vine of energy from my hand and yank him back. I made sure they burned his mid section like acid. I could smell his flesh and blood. He clawed off the black vine off and ran towards me like lighting hitting the ground. He pinned me onto the ground and punctured his teeth into my shoulder. I didn't react, I was dead inside. I know that he was my baby brother, even though I had already said he would touch Lily. This had to be some twisted dream or illusion. I caught a glimpse of his eyes; they weren't red. They were blue orbs of nothing but menace. Demon halfling's eyes were different shades of red. Some were a light red and some were red. He was brought back to life.
"Giving up already demon? Aren't you going to play a bit more, Alex?"
"Your eyes are blue, your a half demon but you were resurrected, weren't you."
"Somebody pays attention. I doesn't matter now does it because your going to die here and so will that girl."
His clawed hand raised above his head and swiped down, landing in nothing but a shadow.
