Shane's P.O.V.

"Wanna have sex?"

"Umm... I don't know if I'm ready yet, to be honest Andy. I mean, we just officially became boyfriends. Maybe some other time, when we are both ready." I replied awkwardly. "Oh, okay. Sorry." He responded. I could tell he was upset. I'm good at reading emotions. It's something I just learned over time. "Andy, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ups-" He cut me off. "Don't say another word, Shane. See you." And he must walked out of the room leaving me alone and vulnerable.

Andy's P.O.V.

After leaving Shane standing there I felt like such a dick. Maybe I should apologize to him. No! But he was honest and he's right. No, Andy, you're being stupid. He deserves to be left alone with no one by his side. Fuck! Now I sound like a dick, even in my head. Arg! Fuck my life! I went into the main household bathroom and locked the door, grabbed my blade and dragged it horizontally across my wrist. "One for being an idiot." I said to myself. "Two for being a dick. Three for being stupid. Four for leaving him on his own. And five for being me." The fifth slit was vertical and I instantly blacked out.

Rebecca's P.O.V.

I'm getting sick of this bullshit. I was stupid to not have time for Shane. I know he needs me but I was so late for my appointment, I didn't even think. He hasn't talked to me in a while. I hope he's okay. Maybe he has just been busy. Andy never mentioned him at school so I say he's fine. I know for a fact that Andy can get worked up over anything.

Shane's P.O.V.

Andy stormed out of the room and all I heard was a door slam. I haven't heard anything since. Why am I even still standing here? He never said I couldn't move. I walked out of the room and tracked down the room that Andy entered. I wasn't entirely sure that he was in here but I was pretty sure that the slam came from this door. I put my ear up to the door and listened closely. I heard whispering, them everything went silent again. Did he know I was standing there listening? Apparently not because he never said anything and the door never opened. I couldn't hear any movement whatsoever. "Andy." I called. No answer. What the hell? "Andy!" I called again, this time louder. Still no answer. Maybe he's still mad at me and giving me the cold shoulder. "Come on Andy! Please don't still be mad at me. At least just let me know if you're okay in there!" I shouted. Nothing. "Okay then I'm coming right in." For all I know, he could be taking a nice, big dump. But he brought it upon himself if I ended up intruding on it. I started kicking the door. Damn this door is strong. I eventually came to realise that this wasn't going to work and he definitely isn't taking a dump. He'd be killing me now if he was. I ran o the kitchen and searched frantically for something to unlock the door. I found nothing useful. I saw a toolbox outside in the garden and ran out to it. Luckily the back door was unlocked. I opened the tool box and found a hammer. "This'll do the trick." I said to myself. I ran carefully with the hammer back to the bathroom. Why couldn't this door have a goddamn keyhole?! I lifted up the hammer and pulled it back and then swung it forward so it hit the door and left only a dent. Goddamn it. "Come on, Shane. You're going to have to do better than that." I told myself. I swung the hammer at the door again, this time with a bit more force and determination. All it did was make the dent bigger an chipped it a bit. Just then the phone rang. I paid no attention to it. It was none of my businesses. It stopped ringing for a few seconds and then started again. This continued for a few minutes while I hammered the door out of it until I lost patience and picked up the phone.

C - Caller

S - Shane

S - Hello?

C - Shane?!

S - Who is this?

C - Rebecca. What are you doing in Andy's?

S - Long story. Look, this better be important.

C - Did something happen?

S - Andy. He. He. He went into the bathroom and hasn't made a sound     or come out. I'm trying to get to him.

C - Don't worry, I'm coming.

S - No. I can do this

C - Shane, you know you shouldn't

S - I said no!

And I just hung up. I was so frustrated I furiously swung the hammer against the door and made a nice hole. I just kept hammering it and eventually I could see through. What I saw I will never forget. Andy. Lying passed out on the floor. I ran up to him. He had blood all over his arm and a blade was on the ground beside him. "No." I as in disbelief. "No, no, no, no, no! Don't go, Andy." Immediately I ran to the phone and dialled 911. Soon after, an ambulance arrived outside and brought Andy into it on a stretcher. I rode in the ambulance with him, sitting beside him the entire journey, holding his hand, hoping for him to be okay.

We arrived at the hospital an he was brought away while I had to sit in the waiting room for news. There wasn't many other people here. Just ke and some other teenager with his leg in a cast. He hopped over to me and talked to me and reassured me until he was called up and had to leave the room. I was left alone.

I obviously fell asleep because I woke up to a nurse calling my name. I got up and walked over to her. My first reaction was to ask,"Will he be okay?"
