Shane's P.O.V.

Well I was wrong. They were the horrible classes. More spitballs and crumpled paper were aimed at me than usual and someone poured cola on my hair during Science. That bastard is going to pay once I tell Rebecca. But now it's break-time and it only means more jocks and more abuse and more pain. I managed to go to my locker without being attacked by an asshole, lucky break, so I went to the canteen to see Rebecca. I told her about Adam pouring the cola on me and she immediately set off to kill him, not literally of course. Sometimes I regret telling her things because they often get her in trouble and me in even more trouble. I suppose I'm used to it by now.

About an hour later we were called to the principal's office. Adam was there too. I knew it! He reported us. "Okay. So what happened?" asked the principal. "They beat me up during break!" Adam complained. "No, no, no. You poured cola over Shane's head during science so I went and gave you a little lesson on why you don't do that." Argued Rebecca. "Calm down children." said the principal calmly."Okay Shane, let's hear your side of the story." Suddenly I started sweating and thoughts came rushing into my mind. What if I tell the truth? Will Adam beat me up more? Will I get evening detention and then my parents beat me when I get home? Or even suspended? I decided to tell the truth, despite all the possible outcomes."Alright then. Adam, you are on litter duty for all this week and next week as well as evening detention all this week. Rebecca, you have lunchtime detention all this week. Alright now get out of my office and out of my sight. I need some peace." Non of us hesitated to leave as we all got right up and walked right out. No questions asked.

Rebecca's P.O.V.

Well that sucks! He gave me lunchtime detention for all of this week! All for just standing up for my friend?! Well, at least I didn't get litter duty. I don't know who enjoys that shit. You have to pick up everyone else's litter and get laughed at. Some people also purposely drop litter so that you can go over and pick it up. I also think that the majority of people assigned to it, not as punishment, don't even do it. I did it once and that was enough. Shane though, the lucky bastard got Jo punishment. I suppose because he was the one who got cola poured on top of him and he wasn't the one who caused a fight. Well in a sense he was, but in the proper sense he wasn't. I just hope that he's happy for what I did for him...Then again he never is happy. But I just hope that he appreciates it. Knowing him, he does.
