She watches among the stars
Over the billions of creatures
Those blessed with potential
With skills for survival
She helplessly stands by
Seeing the result of their actions
Witnessing their fall to death
Cries of energy blast and echo throughout space
She can not resist the urge to cover her face
Why? She moans. Why don't they Change?
