Samantha tasted blood in her mouth and began coughing blood up as she laid on her side. Her entire body hurt, but her worry for Peter stopped her from passing out on the plane ground. The entire inside of the plane had shifted around, one landing on her ankle and capturing it tot he ground.

With any strength that she had left, she shoved the container off her ankle before crying out.

Her breathing was heavy as she shifted the slightest amount of the ground. She could hear the bangs and explosions on the outside of the plane, but could do nothing about it.

Samantha was lurched towards the plane exit when it crashed against the ground. She quickly crawled out of it with her ears ringing. She saw Peter a distance away stumbling, and tried to warn him when Vulture attacked him, but no words left her mouth.

She tried to stand, but stumbled only two steps forward. She continued her crawl towards her friend in obvious danger watching him fight and lose to Vulture.

Watching the fight, Samantha found new strength to stand and run over to aid her friend.

Vulture stood on Peter's back continuing to lift him before pushing him into the ground. Samantha broke out into a run, pushing the man off her friend and rolling away into the sand.

Samantha rolled on the ground with the man, where she kicked and ripped at every part of his suit that she could get her hands on. Vulture punched her in the jaw causing her to become disoriented. He took the opportunity and swung Samantha onto the ground.

He grabbed Samantha throwing her towards Peter, where she hit a metal container. He moved to attack the teenagers again when something caught his eye. Pulling off his mask, he walked away from the teens.

Samantha saw vulture drag away the Chitauri cores witht he sparks coming from his suitand quickly pulled off her mask.. "Peter!" she shouted alerting his friend. "He's going to cause an explosion."

"Your wingsuit's gonna explode!" Peter yelled. He shot webs at the container, groaning in pain, but trying his hardest to get the explosive cores away from Liz's dad.

Samantha stared in worry, but couldn't move due to a sharp pain in her ankle.

"Time to go home, Pete."

"i'm trying to save you!"

Vulture used his wing to cut the web. Shortly after that, his suit crashed, falling to the beach.

Samantha saw Peter stand and run over to the crash.

"Peter," she shouted, worrying for her friend, but unable to move. Samantha could see nothing over the flames and started crying in fear that Peter wouldn't come back.

Suddenly, Samantha saw a figure hunched over with another on his back and the tears became tears of joy.

"Yes Spider-Man! Yes," she screamed at her friend.

Peter collapsed onto the ground next to her and Samantha crawled over, embracing her friend tightly sobbing. Peter pulled her into him.

"We did it. We did it," he whispered into her ear. "Let me go, real quick. Please, I need to handle him and then we'll get out of here, okay?"

Samantha nodded, sitting in the sand and crawling away from Vulture, who Peter grabbed again.

He webbed Vulture to a contianer and left a note saying: Found Flying Vulture Guy Spider-Man and Cognitiva. P.S. Sorry about the mess.

Wrapping his arm around Samantha's shoulders, he spoke to his friend. "Let's get out of here."

"Well, about that... I might need you to carry me," she said gesturing to her injured ankle.

Peter laughed before offering his back to the girl like he had done on numerous occasions.

Peter sat them on top of cyclone where they sat quitely watching the scene and enjoying each others company.

"Thank you," Samnatha said randomly.

"For what?" Peter asked.

"For making the suit, for beleiving in me," Samantha explained.

"Oh... Of course I believe in you. You're an amazing super hero and you deserve to do whatever you want," Peter said.

The silence grew again before Peter asked something that had been bugging him.

"Did you really wnat to go to homecoming with Flash?" he asked, avoiding the girls eyes as a blush filled his cheeks.

"I wanted to go to homecoming, yes, but Flash wasn't my original choice. No" Samantha said.

"Who was?" Peter asked, finally looking at the girl.

"You were, Pete," she said staring deeply into his eyes.

Neither moved as one absorbed the infromation and the other watched.

"Oh..." he mumbled.

"Yeah," Samantha snorted, unamused.

Peter rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well, hey. At least we don't have a villian to worry about anymore," Peter said, cheerfully.

"I wouldn't be too sure of that. We still need to find the girl who snuck into my room," Samantha said groaning.

"Hey, I just thought of something. what did she look like?" Peter asked.

"Light-skinned, dark wavy hair. Early or Mid twenties. She was in a white or green dress. Why?"

"There was this girl who sounds exactly like that who came asking for you the day you were late to shcool. I told Tony about it, but he refused to let me help."

"If Tony knows, then I know how we are going to find out exactly what this girl wants and who she is," Samnatha said with a smirk on her face.

Peter smiled at her worriedly, not knowing what the girl had in mind.

"Let's get home," Samnatha said standing on the ride before almost falling off. She had forgotten about her hurt ankle, luckily Peter had caught her.

"I'm so sorry!" He rushed out. "I completely forgot. We need to get you help now."

"Peter, have you seen yourself? You look like shit. Come on, just take me home. What I really want is a hot shower, warm bath, and some much needed sleep."

"That does sound nice," Peter chuckled.

He leaned over so Samantha could hop on his back before, webbing away, heading to their apartment.
