laying on the couch. He had slept there the previous night, and still had not gotten up. He laid there watchting TV when his phone started going off. It startled him making him jump. Andy sat up, and without even looking at the ID of the caller answered," Hello?"
"Hey, Andy. It's Star..." She did not even have to say her name. Andy knew her voice before she even finished the first word. He had not heard her voice in so long it felt like years. It gave him goosebumps. It was simular to him hearing one of his favorite songs come on the radio. One that he had not heard in years. That was what he was feeling when he heard her voice again.
"Star?" he said in disbelieve.
Star gave a short laugh," Yeah, it's me."
Andy was speechless.
"How... how are you?" Star asked nerviously.
""Aren't I supposed to be asking you that question?" Andy asked laughing.
Star laughed," Yeah... Well... I've... I've had time to think... Time to... recover... I guess is how you would put it.."
"So... you're doing better?" Andy asked nerviously bitting his lip.
"Um... yeah... better... " she said trailing off.
"I know, Star. You've not got to explain."
Star sighed," So... anyway... I was wondering... if I could come home...?"
Andy felt a rush of excitment," Yeah, of course. I'll be there soon to pick you up."
Star laughed at his eagerness. "Okay, I'll see you in a bit," said said, and they ended the call.
