Chapter 4

The next day, Star woke up, and walked down stairs. Andy had already left, so she was home alone. She had to work that day, but it was second shift so she still have plenty of time.

She sighed wishing Andy was there. She felt so alone in this empty house. Star sat at the island, and thought as she ate herself a bowl on Cheerios.

"Maybe we should get a dog? Or a cat?"she thought to herself. She finished her cereal and went into the living room to watch some TV.

As soon as she sat down on the couch someone knocked on the front door. Star sighed and stood back up to go answer it.

She opened the door, and saw Sammi Doll smiling at her from the porch. "Sammi?! What are you doing here?!" Star said surprised.

Sammi laughed and gave Star a tight hug," I figured you were getting lonely in this house by yourself like me at my house so, I thought I'd pay a visit. Is that okay?"

"Yeah, oh my gosh I'm so happy your here!" Star said moving out of the way so Sammi could go inside.

Star closed the door," Do you want anything? Something to drink or eat?"

"Um... do you have any coke?"

"Yeah, come on," Star said leading her to the kitchen.

Star got the both of them a coke, and they both sat down at the island to talk.

"So... how's everything going?" Sammi asked after taking a sip of coke.

Star sighed," Would I sound selfish if I said lonely?"

"I hardly doubt that Hun," Sammi said looking at her sympotheticly. She knew exactly how Star felt.

"I just miss him so much, Sammi," Star said her voice cracking. Tear filled her eyes, and Sammi hugged her close.

"I know know honey. It gets hard, but you've gotta stay strong," she said rubbing her back soothingly.

Star whipped her tears away, and Sammi let her pit of the hug. "It's nice talking to someone who cares," Star said smiling.

"Believe me, I know," Sammie said giving her a soft laugh.
