They both looked at each other. This was very awkward for both of them, but they both knew that this converstaion would have to come sooner or later. They had to talk.

Star sighed," Andy... I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and..." She bit her lip. Andy looked at her nervously.

He sighed and decided to speak up," Star, I know... I said I love you, and that's completely and one hundred percent true, but I understand completely if you don't want to..."

Star cut him off," No, Andy. That's the problem. I do want to. I have for a long time. I don't know why I even dated AJ in the first place. I was confused. But now I... I just..." she sighed.

Andy looked at her. He could tell she was having difficulty finding the words that were needed to be said. He, like most others, have been in the same situation many a time in his life.

After a while she sighed giving up," I don't know how to put it."

Andy nodded understanding. He knew this all was probably more difficult and confusing for her then it was for himself. She had just been through so much in the past year.

"Andy... I love you too..." A tear came to her eye, and by her tone of voice Andy could tell she was not finished talking," But... I... I don't know if I'm... if I'm ready... yet..."

Andy swollowed hard and nodded.

Star saw the expression on his face, and her heart dropped. "Andy, I'm so sorry."

He shook his head. "No, Star. There's nothing you need to be sorry for. I completely understand. I mean, look at all the hell you have gone through this year. I swear to God you're the strongest person I know. That's why I love you the way I do, but if there is a time that we will be together then that time will come. Until then I will be waiting."

Tears rose in Star's eye. That was the most beautiful thing that anyone had said to her. "Thank you, Andy," she said, and they embraced each in a tight hug.
