Chapter 32

Andy went upstairs. He stopped in front of Star's bedroom door. He was not sure on what to do at this point. He stood there for a minute thinking.

"Star?" he softly asked.

No answer.

"Star?" he said more loudly.

There was still not answer. Andy turned the door knob and walked in the room. He saw Star laying in bed facing the oppisite direction from him. "Star?" Andy said again.

She sniffed and rubbed her nose. She was not wearing her sunglasses now.

Andy sighed," Star, Jinxx is on his way to pick you up." 

Andy could not see, but tears fell down Star's face.

"Star, I'm sorry," Andy said starting to walk bakc out of the bedroom.

"Andy?" Star whispered.

He stopped and turned around to look at her.

"I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to love again," she said sitting up and turning her head half way toward him showing her good eye.

"You will, Star, and whom ever that man may be he will be a very very lucky one," Andy said.

She sniffed again and looked down," If I ever were to be able to love someone again... it'd be you. " She looked at him through the corner of her eye. "Don't give up on me. "

"I'll be waiting for iternity," Andy said.

Star gave him a weak smile, and a tear fell down her cheek. She looked down and away so Andy could not see her cry.

Andy had the urge to run over and hug her, but he knew he should not. Instead, he left the room, and walked back downstairs to wait for Jinxx.
