  Eddie had just ran from home, caused by a fight with his mom. He didn't know where to go. The first place he thought of was the quarry.

Eddie sat down on a log, his hands covering his face. Every once in a while would glance up at the sky, watching the stars gleam in the night.

There was only one thing that would make him feel better. Richie.

Richie was taking a walk, since he had nothing better to do. The arcade was closed and he didn't feel like going back home just to be neglected.

He walked over to the quarry to get his mind off things. Richie was starting to feel weird with Eddie. He didn't know exactly why though. He shook that out of his head and continued walking.

When Richie stepped up close to the edge, he thought he saw a figure. He turned and saw something on a log? He was confused, but decided not to think about it.

Richie sat on the ground, his legs dangling off the cliff. He sat watching the water shine in the light of the moon.

Eddie looked up, putting his hands in his lap and sighed loudly. Loud enough for Richie to hear.

Richie looked over. There was just enough moon light for him to see Eddie's face.

"E-eddie?"

Eddie looked up at him. He gave a weak smile.

"Hey."

Richie stood up and sat next to Eddie. Little did Richie know, Eddie was just as confused as Richie was about each other.

"What are you doing here eds?" Richie questioned.

"I could ask the same thing, and don't call me that." Eddie said.

"Answer me first." Richie demanded.

Eddie sighed,"I had a fight with my mom."

"Oh," was all Richie could say.

"What about you, Rich?" Now it was Richie's turn to sigh.

"Just to get my mind off things," Richie said, gazing into the sky.

Eddie couldn't help but stare. Richie's face in the pale light of the moon.

Richie turned, catching Eddie already watching him.

Eddie immediately turned a dark shade of red and turned away.

Richie put his hand on Eddie's cheek, making him look at him again. Causing both to turn red.

"Rich-"

Eddie was cut off by Richie's lips crashing into his.

Eddie's eyes flung open. His eyes almost the size of the moon.(DID U SEE THAT REFERENCE) But melted into it.

Richie pulled Eddie closer. Deepening the kiss. Eddie hands found their way to Richie's curly hair.

Richie pulled away slowly.

"I-im sorry."

Eddie gave him a confused glance.

"I....I love you eds."

Eddie, caught by surprise, didn't know what to say. So he did the only thing he could think of. Eddie pulled Richie in by his shirt kissing him once again.

"So we feel the same way?" Eddie asked.

Richie, flustered, nodded at the smaller boy.
