1 year later

Its been a year since Lizzy's kidnapping and my coma. We have grown and learned from it. We've been closer with each other and spending a lot of time with each other.

She now owns her own book store while I work as Lawyer. I wanted to be a police officer but Lizzy was afraid that I would get hurt. I appreciated her caring and decided to become a lawyer.

With all that has happen with us coming close to death, today is the day I decide to marry her. My one true love.

Currently Lizzy is at her job and wont be home until 5:30 and its 2:00, so I have 3hrs and 30mins to prepare her special night.

Im going to make one of her favorite foods;chicken parm. Im also going to pick up her favorite wine and roses; which is her favorite flowers. Im going to put romantic music on and I'm going to wear a suit because just before she left I told her to wear a dress.

She didn't ask why, so just put one on,kissed me goodbye and walked out.

I already have my 'speech' of what im going to say to her before I pop the big question.

So it is currently 5:00 and everything is all set. The food is done, music on, roses in the middle of the table and my suit is on and I look hot if I so say so myself.

Now just to wait for Lizzy to come home.

I thought it was weird that Tyler asked me to wear a dress but I put on my back strapless dress and headed to work.

I honestly love what I do. I love to read and owning a book store makes me happier, thats why Tyler helped me get this.

I couldn't ask for anyone better than him honestly. He's been so good to me since my accident and he even gave up being a police officer. I cried because he gave it up. I just don't want him hurt again

I've been going to the doctor for weekly appointments and they still haven't found a cure yet but I'm still healthy except for the poison coursing through my veins.

The doctor gave me antibiotics to try and stop it and it has helped a little bit. The poison has took a toll on my body but I'm still working and not letting it affect me.

Scarlet and Jacob visit the house once in a while along with Marie. It makes me happy that they visit. Us girls go the mall while Jacob and Tyler play videos game. Boys will be boys.

I checked the time on my phone and it was 5:10, I started to pick up my desk and went around to tidy up the store and put everything into its place.

By the time I was done it was 5:25 and I closed and locked the shop up and headed home.

When I walked to my house I could here music coming from it and it was my favorite song;  Perfect by Ed Sheeran.

I smiled and walked in. The table was set with dishes and silverware. While there was roses in the middle and Tyler was sitting at the other end of the table in a suit and man did he look good in a suit.

"Hey baby." He said, walked over and kissed me.

"Whats all of this for?" I asked as I gazed into his beautiful eyes.

"To show how much I appreciate you." He led me to my chair and dished out chicken parm.

Mhmmm my favorite.

After we got done eating, he turned the music down a little bit and walked over to me, and sat down in the chair next to me.

"Elizabeth Marie Miller, you are my best friend. I wouldn't chose anyone over you. You came into my life and changed it for the better. I never would of thought that I could love someone but you showed me I could find love. You make my bad days good. You always make me in a good mood and always make sure I accomplish my goals, I couldn't ask for anyone better. I wouldn't be able to live in a world without you, you're my world Lizzy. You will always be mine and mine only. You're incredibly beautiful and perfect in every single way baby. Don't let anyone tell you different. I love you so much," he paused and tears escaped, he then smiled and continued, "I don't want to spend my life with anyone else but you and only you baby. So," he got down on one knee, "Will you do me the honor and marry me?"
