Taehyung's POV
"Stop looking so sad, Tae." Seokjin emerges from the kitchen carrying a tray with three teacups and a steaming teapot. "Look! Your favorite hyung has made you tea."
I don't look up. My elbows are resting on my knees and my head is buried in my hands. Hoseok is sitting next to me on the couch, rubbing my back to comfort me.
Seokjin takes a seat on the couch across from me and Hoseok. As he pours himself a cup of tea, he asks, "So. What happened?"
"Apparently Taehyung here has had a crush on Jimin since forever. And today he finally had the courage to confess, but Jimin rejected him." Hoseok explains. I let out a muffled groan when I hear the word "rejected".
"Ouch." Seokjin winces.
Just then, the front door opens. Namjoon walks in, looking more stressed out than ever. He sighs heavily and falls on the couch next to Seokjin.
"Oh, look." Seokjin chuckles. "Another hopeless romantic has arrived."
Namjoon scoffs. "What're you talking about?"
Seokjin laughs and elbows Namjoon playfully. "Yah, c'mon. We all know you've had a crush on Y/N even way before she and Yoongi started dating."
Namjoon ignores him and turns to me. "Hey, what's wrong, Tae?"
I keep my head down and my shoulders slumped as Hoseok explains my story again.
"Poor Taehyung." Namjoon shakes his head in pity. "By the way, where's Jimin?"
"He texted me that he'd be staying in his family's house for tonight." Hoseok says cautiously. "Because he wants to, uh... avoid someone."
Hoseok squeezes my shoulder reassuringly. It still doesn't improve my mood.
The four of us sit there in silence, each of our minds occupied with our own deep thoughts.
Seokjin sips his tea loudly, then he slams the empty cup on the glass table, making Namjoon, Hoseok, and I jump in surprise.
"Taehyung!" He exlaims. "I think I have an idea!"
I lazily lift my head from my hands and stare at Seokjin, waiting as he takes a dramatic pause.
"Jennie's party." Seokjin says with a flourish.
"Who the hell is Jennie?" Namjoon, Hoseok, and I ask in unison.
"My girlfriend." Seokjin proclaims.
"You have a girlfriend?!" We speak in unison again.
"Whatever. The point is, us four, plus Jungkook and Jimin, are invited. Also-"
"Wait." Hoseok interrupts. "Why isn't Yoongi hyung invited?"
"Jennie is friends with his ex." Jin states. "Anyways, her other friends are invited too. It'll be a big party. But it'll be the perfect time for Tae to talk to Jimin and for Namjoon to talk to Y/N!"
Seokjin clasps his hands together and looks at the three of us excitedly.
"Hyung... I don't know." Namjoon hesitates. "I know Jennie pretty well, and she throws pretty wild parties. There's gonna be too many people and a lot of alcohol."
"But don't you want to solve your romantic problems soon?" Jin urges. "This party is only two days from now. Plus, it wouldn't be very likely for Taehyung to convince Jimin to talk during his own time. But Jimin loves parties, and he'll definately go to this one. Whether or not Tae is going too."
"Well, let's do it." Hoseok shrugs.
"That's the spirit!" Seokjin exclaims. "Taehyung? Namjoon? What do you think?"
"Sure, I guess." Namjoon chuckles and pours himself a cup of tea.
I bite my bottom lip and shrug.
"Fine, I'll go." I mumble.

Reader's POV
"THEY KISSED?!" Jennie screeches in shock.
I lurch back and nod hastily. "Yup. I don't know what else happened, though. I left before they could see me."
We are sitting on my bed again, chatting past midnight. This time, however, I had been so eager to tell Jennie what happened that she didn't have time to make microwave popcorn.
"Who would've imagined." Jennie giggles. "Now that I think about, Taehyung and Jimin are actually pretty cute together."
"Yeah, I guess." I say. "But that's not the point. The point is, I bumped into Yoongi afterwards, and we talked. He apologized for being rude the past few days, and... I think I've- I've finally gotten over him. I've finally let him go."
"Honey, that's great! And it's about time you let go of him. I read an article, and apparently he's leaving for Japan next week." Jennie reaches over and squeezes my hand. "But I'm still mad at him, though. For hurting you so much. That's why I didn't invite him to my party."
I sit up. "What party?"
"Um, the one I've been talking about since last week?"
"Oh." I mutter. I must've been so preoccupied with thoughts of Yoongi and Jimin that I didn't really pay attention to Jennie in those days.
"Anyways, I added more people to the guestlist. I invited BTS! Except Yoongi, of course."
I tilt my head in confusion. "How did you contact them?"
Jennie waves her hand in the air and rolls her eyes. "The other day, I did something stupid with Seokjin."
"What happened?"
Jennie sighs. "Well, I went to the club the other day, and he kept flirting with me. Next thing I know, we're-"
I hold up my hand and laugh. "Never mind, I don't wanna hear it."
"And I don't want to think about it." She sighs angrily. "Anyways, we need to go shopping to get you new clothes."
"Wait! I don't even know if I want to go to your party."
"Of course you want to go." Jennie smirks. "Plus, Namjoon will be there."
"What's your point?"
Jennie leans closer and looks at me excitedly. "You know how you've been telling me about that dream? I think Namjoon might be the answer."
I shake my head and laugh shakily. "No, that's impossible. We're just friends."
"Well, Taehyung and Jimin were 'just friends', and now look at them." She giggles again. "You also said that in your dream, you had a feeling that you already knew who the answer was. If it's not Yoongi and if it's not Jimin, then who else could it be?"
I hum thoughtfully and look at the ceiling.
It can't be.
The thought of Namjoon actually having feelings for me is just bizarre.
Absolutely impossible.
