The ride going to the condo unit, where I stayed, was a bit awkward. I took a glimpse at her beside me. She looked innocent. It's like she hasn't been here before. Why did I chose this decision?

This is going to be a bad idea.

As we arrived, I heard her mumble. "Wow.."

"This is not my house, yet." I clarified.

"Oh." she sighed and we went in the building. We entered the elevator and pressed the button number 10.

While in the elevator, I can sense Marriett staring at me.  I took a deep breath and sighed. She's too creepy, she kept on staring at me.

Why did I chose this?

Abort decision.

Abort decision.

Abort.

Abort!

I can't resist. I turned my face to her. "What are you looking at?"

"Nothing, sir.." she replied and bowed down her head. I turned my head to the elevator door and stared. "Don't call me 'sir'."

She remained silent. Good sign. "Call me --" I paused. I have no idea what she's going to call me. The elevator dinged and we stepped out.

I stood in front of my door and entered my pass code. I walked through the door. I noticed Marriett not coming in.

"Aren't you coming in?" I asked. She looked at me awkwardly.

"Are you sure, si-" she paused. I just smiled sheepishly and nodded. She began to walk in and into the living room.

I put my keys on the shelf and my bag on the sofa. I laid on my lounger at the balcony to rest for a while and closed my eyes. I hope this is all my dream.

"What shall I call you?" she began to talk. I opened my eyes and faced the door to see her there, standing.

"You can call me whatever you want. Just don't call me 'sir'." I clarified as I closed my eyes.

"Do you have extra towel?" she asked. I opened my eyes and sat up. "Why?"

"I... I will just take a shower.." she answered. I looked at her with awe. "There... At the bathroom."

"Okay, si- ... Erm... John.." then she headed off. I watched her going to the bathroom and closed the door. Does she even have extra clothes?

Good thing, my ex-fiance has many extra clothes in my closet. She left her extra clothes when she slept over here. But nothing happened, just to tell you frankly.

I stood up and went to my bedroom to get the clothes. Before I went out the room, I got the comb, and then headed to the shelf in front of the bathroom door and put it all there. I headed back at the lounger and rested.

I woke up from my unexpected nap. I glanced at my watch. It was already 3:50 pm. I stood and walked in. Where is Marriett?

I walked in the bedroom. No sign. Kitchen. No sign. I went out at the kitchen and looked over the shelf in front of the bathroom door. The clothes and the comb were gone.

I walked in the living room to see Marriett taking her cat nap on the sofa. I sighed in relief. She wore the clothes that I have given her. She looks so peaceful. And if she wake up, I'm going to ask her questions.

This is going to be a long day.
