Chapter 46

~ Zonnique's Pov ~

I yawned as I slipped my body from under the warm duvet

I walked into the bathroom and flipped on the light looking at my appearance

I looked like a mad man I had deep dark circles under my eyes and my hair was a mess I Frowned And turned my attention to my stomach

My baby bump was becoming more and more noticeable I rubbed my stomach and I wondered how my dad would react to this first I snuck away from home and ontop of that I was pregnant I was gonna get an ass whooping out of this world when I got home and that was guaranteed

I shook the thought of that out of my head and ran me a warm bubble bath

I slipped my body into the warm water soaking my body , at once I felt relief and my body felt more relaxed

After a good thirty minutes I stepped out wrapping my body and my hair in seperate towels I exited the bathroom and dried off my body , slipping on some comfortable clothes I took the towel off my head and brushed my hair out I decided I would just let it air dry

I exited the bedroom and walked into the kitchen only to see Bahja cooking I took a seat at the bar

"Hey Nique." Bahja said greeting me

"Hey bee." I smiled "Whatchu cooking?"

"Fried Chicken." She responded

"Fried chicken?" I repeated

"Is it a crime for a chocolate girl to be cooking fried chicken?" She joked

"No..." I laughed

"Im cooking it for Prodigy you know it's his favorite food."

"Aw that's so sweet when are you guys gonna start working on my Neice or nephew?" I asked

"Well...." Bahja said smiling as she looked down at her stomach

"Wait you're?" I asked smiling

"Ye- Nah I'm just fucking with you." Bahja laughed

I kissed my teeth

"You had me there for a second."

"I know cause I'm good like that." Bahja said popping her imaginary collar

I laughed

"You are too much."

"I know but ima go ahead and take this to prod it's getting pretty late."

"Okay."

"You wanna go?" Bahja asked

"No I don't think I can tolerate seeing that hospital ever again." I explained

"Okay well I'll be back soon." Bahja said as she picked up the container of chicken and walked out the door

"Well I guess it's just me and you now." I said looking down at my stomach.
