"So, how have things been between you and Ashley?" My grandpa asked as we sat on my yacht, fishing off of the side .

"Really good, I can't wait for the wedding. For her to officially become Mr.Bieber." I said, grinning as reeling in my line that had, yet again, a salmon.

"I'm glad to hear that. Me could tell you would end up together from the moment you told me about her ." He chuckled, reeling his line in as well. I threw my fish back into the ocean and started to doze off , thinking about the day I came back to Canada and was ranting off about Ashley to my grandparents....

"She's so beautiful, and get this, she likes hockey. Hockey!" I expressed, using my hands for emphasis. My grandma just smiled while my grandpa gave me a look.

"You love her?" He asked, knowingly. I nodded sheepishly, feeling my cheeks and ears heat up.

"Definitely. But she has a boyfriend, they're barely together, but when they are and I'm around, it kills me. To know he can hold her, hug her, kiss her, and I can do a thing about it. Because at the end of the day, she's not my girlfriend ." I sighed, looking down and my hands in my lap.

"Oh sweetie, I'm sure she likes you, just give her time, be her shoulder to cry on, her rock to hold her down, just show her you care and she will fall for you no doubt." My grandma smiled before standing up and patting my back. "I'll be in the kitchen with your mother preparing dinner if you need me."

"So, have you told her yet?" My grandpa asked once my grandma disappeared into the kitchen .

"Nope. And I probably will never get the chance to. I mean seriously it's like every damn guy is attracted to her, how will I compete with half the people that go after her? So what if I'm a pop star, she doesn't care, she knows lots of celebrities. And it's not like she swoons over me just because I'm Justin Bieber. It's just so difficult . " I groaned, annoyed at myself.

"Justin, not everything will come easy to you in life because your some teen heart throb. You need to work for stuff too, and if this girl is really someone you want to have in your life and be a big part of it, you need to show her that."

"Thanks grandpa, I'll do that."

And that's a promise I kept and still keep to this day.

"Justin? Justin? You okay bud, you zoned out there for a while." He chuckled, laying down his fishing pole into the plastic storage box. I nodded and stood up, placing my pole next to his. I closed the lid to the bin and turning around, leaning my butt up against it.

"I'm fine, just got lost in my thoughts." I shrugged looking up at him.

"Alright. Wanna start heading back? I got a text from your grandma saying she's watching Emma, Ashley had to go run an errand." He explained, walking towards the exit . I nodded and followed behind. We were still docked so we were already at the pier.

"Did she say where ash went?" I asked, not knowing were she went. She didn't mention any errands before.

"No."

.

"Hi baby girl." I smiled down at Emma who was laying on her back on her little play-pack. She giggled and muttered a dada.

I reached down and picked her up, letting her head rest on my shoulder and small body lay down on my chest.

"Where did ash go?" I asked my grandma.

"She went grocery shopping, she said she needed to get baby formula, although she left quite a while ago, maybe I should call her and make sure she's okay." She contemplated, grabbing her iPhone from the coffee table and dialing in a number.

As it started ringing, she put it on speaker, but it just kept ringing until it went to voicemail.

"I hope she's okay. Maybe I should try calling her." I worried, taking my phone from my pocket and punching in her number, this time there was an answer.

"Hello? Ashley? Are you okay?" I asked hurriedly. She didn't respond. All I could hear was the sound of a Soren in the background, slowly but surely getting closer to the phone. " Ashley?" I said, a bit louder, but not to loud considering Emma's ears were right by my mouth.

Still no answer.

"Maybe she pocket dialed you and is stuck in traffic." My grandma suggested, taking Emma from my arms.

" I don't think so." I muttered, focusing on what I could hear coming through the speaker.

I'm pretty sure I could hear breathing, very light breathing, but I'm not sure.

All of a sudden the sirens sounded like they were right next to her phone.

" OVER HERE!" I heard a deep voice shout.

A bunch of footsteps were heard, than shouting voices.

"She's under the rubble, someone cut her seatbelt!" Barked one man as another one said a quick 'yes sir'.

I don't understand what's going on.

"Sir, I found a phone. It's on call too." Someone said, talking quick. Actually, they were all talking quickly, like they were in a hurry.

"Hello?" A deep voice asked.

"Um, hello? Who's this? Why do you have my finances phone?" I asked, completely and utterly confused.

"Sir, I'm going to need you to meet us at The City of Angeles hospital. Your fiancé has been in an accident."

And with that, I collapsed on the floor, tears clouding my eyes, and pain clouding my heart.
