Four

Yuri and Liam walk out of the hospital room with Shouyu in tow. His arms is in a sling and he has 27 stitches in his shoulder. Shouyu walks out with puffy eyes from crying due to the pain. The doors to the waiting room open and Riku runs up to his brother. "Hey. You okay bro?" Shouyu nods and accepts the warm embrace from his brother. "You had me worried. I thought it was more serious than this."

He glares at Jai's father Vizier who looks away as if he isn't there.

Shouyu chuckles, "Im okay. Just dislocated my shoulder and cut myself on one of the sprinkler cages. Apparently it wasn't closed all the way." He then notices all of his friends are there. "Hey guys. You've been here the whole time?" They nod and breath easier knowing he's okay.

Konohamaru clears his throat. Liam looks at him, "Its okay Kono. Accidents happen. We do not blame you for this." Konohamaru nods and looks at the young Takari. "Shouyu. Unfortunately, youre going to have to miss quite a few practices until your arm heals and will then have to miss quite a few games until your stitches can be removed."

Shouyu nods in understanding. "How long am I out?"

Iwabe steps forward. "Well, we've been told 7 weeks. Your cut was nearly two inches deep and will need a lot of time to heal."

A few tears fall from Shouyu's eyes but he nods anyway. "Come on son. Lets go home. Your aunt and uncle are at the house and are worried sick about you." Shouyu's head shoots up at his mom. "Really. They're here?"

Riku nods. "Yep. And you know what that means." Shouyu shushes him and he and Riku form innocent looks at their parents. Yuri raises an eyebrow. "What are you two up to?" They both answer quickly, "NOTHING!!!"

When they arrive home, Shouyu sits down on the couch. His dog hears his voice and runs down stairs to greet him. He looks at Shouyu's arm and back at him with a confused look. Shouyu pets his head. "Im okay boy. Just had an accident." The dog snuggles in Shouyu's lap and he continues to pet his head.

Shouyu's aunt and uncle come downstairs. "I was wondering where that dog ran off all of a sudden." a woman says. Shouyu and Riku look up at her. "Aunt Kurenai!!!" they scream. Riku hugs his aunt and then she walks over to the couch with Shouyu. "Aw. My little muffin hurt himself." she hugs him lightly and ruffles his hair.

"Hey!! What about me?" a man says. The two boys look at their uncle. He stands at the staircase with a huge grin on his face. "Uncle Asuma." Riku hugs his uncle and Asuma also ruffles Shouyu's hair. "Hey. You okay kid? You gave everyone quite a scare."

Shouyu looks confused. "I only dislocated my shoulder. Gosh. What did Mr Novani tell you guys anyway?" Riku gets ready to speak but Shouyu stops him. "Nevermind. I just realized whos name I said." Everyone laughs and Yuri goes to prepare dinner while the rest chat.

Later in the night, Shouyu is lying in bed when his phone rings. "Yo!"

"Dude. You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm good Izzy."

"Man. That was pretty scary. For a second, I thought you'd popped a blood vessel."

"Why are you always so dramatic?"

"Well, this IS me we're talking about here."

Ezra laughs and Shouyu hears another voice giggling.

"Huh? Izzy are you with someone?"

"No, Im at home."

"I could have sworn I heard giggling."

"Oh. That was Amari. She's on the phone."
