Seven

Its Friday and the first football game of the year. Its a tradition that the guys usually give their girlfriends their jersey that day. Riku and Jai, as usual, are hounded by girls. They share a look and grunt. They make their way to their lockers where Shouyu is waiting on them. He laughs at their expressions, "Fan girls?" They nod slapping him five.

Zhang walks up with his jersey in his hand. "Sup guys?" he says then notices the looks on Riku and Jai's faces. He sighs, "Fan girls?"

Everyone chuckles and walks away.

Ezra is walking through the hallway with Reina and Amari when one of the football players stop her. Reina. "Would you like to wear my jersey?" he asks. She shakes her head, "No. Because that would mean that I am your girlfriend and I dont even know you. So, no thanks." They continue walking down the hall until another guy walks in front of Ezra with his jersey.

She says with her hand on her forehead not looking up, "Look. I'm flattered and all that you want me to wear your jersey but..." she then looks up at the guy.

His long lavender hair and indigo eyes look at her in confusion, "But what Ezra?"

"R-riku? I...uh..." she stutters with a blush. "A-are you a-asking m-me to w-wear your j-jersey?"

Riku shakes his head, "No...I'm asking you to be my girlfriend." He smiles down at her. Her eyes sparkle as she nods a small yes and hugs him. "Oh my GOD. Are you serious? Is this a joke? Please don't let it be a joke." she whispers into his ear.

Riku smiles, "No! This isn't a dare or a bet. I had a crush on you in 8th grade but I always thought you were interested in Zhang which made me kinda like Reina." She hurriedly shakes her head, "No. Zhang and I talked and tried to date but he is like an annoying brother to me. I think he has a thing for Reina."

"Yeah...you definitely got the annoying part right. Wait! Reina? Wow that's bold of him." Riku chuckles as Ezra lightly slaps his shoulder. "Hey. That's my friend you're talking about mister. Just because youre my boyfriend now doesn't give you the right to talk about them." Riku smiles at her and kisses her jaw making her blush, "But it does give me the right to do that." He hands her his number 7 jersey and walks away towards the cafeteria for breakfast.

Reina and Amari look at Ezra and squeal in delight. Ezra cant believe what just happened and pinches herself. "I have a boyfriend. And its Riku Takari. THE RIKU TAKARI!!!!" she screams out with the girls squealing.

Zhang passes by and raises an eyebrow. "Are you guys okay?" They looks at him and nod. He looks at Reina and down at his jersey, "Reina. I know were not dating but, would you like to wear my jersey? I know what everyone will think but I just really wanted to give to someone I trust." She blushes and nods her head. "Of course Zhang. I would love to." He hands her his number 19 jersey with a smile.

She gives him a hug and Amari gives him a thumbs up mouthing the words, 'I told you.' He smiles and nods, "Well, I'll see you girls later." He walks away in the same direction as Riku. They fan girl again over it.

As they walk through the hallway, several other football players attempt to give Amari their jerseys, but she politely lets them down. Keiri eventually meets up with her friends.

She instantly notices the jerseys one Reina and Ezra. She raises an eyebrow at them. Before they can stop her, she squeals in excitement. "Congrats girls." Reina and Ezra blush at her. Amari drops her head and Keiri notices.

"Whats wrong Mari?" she asks. Amari looks up at her and shakes her head, "Nothing." Ezra places her hand on her shoulder. "Its okay Mari. He may need a little more time. You have to remember that this time last year he was involved with that cunt." Amari nods and giggles at Ezra. "You shouldn't call people things like that."
