Five

Keiri and Reina go to the mall with Ezra to meet up with an old friend of theirs. They order a few drinks and sit at a table and begin to chat.  Keiri sips her drink and says, "Hey Izzy. Wheres Amari? I didnt see her after school."

Ezra laughs a bit, "She went over to Shouyu's house to take him his homework for the week he missed." Reina spits her drink out and looks at her shocked. "She went to Shouyu's house!?" she exclaims. Ezra nods. Keiri and Reina begin to fan girl. "Shomari! Shomari!" they chant. Ezra deadpans and stops them. "Uh girls. Two things. One. Theyre not a couple. Two. Shomari??"

They look at her and droop their heads. "Just had to rain on our parade."

"Thats what Izzy does." a voice says behind them. The girls turn around to a purple haired girl with a pony tail in her head. "SUMIRE!!!!" they scream and run to her. Sumire laughs at her friends. "Glad to see you girls too."

"How have you been?" Ezra asks. Sumire answers trying to pull Reina away from her, "I've been pretty good. I just hate that Im stuck in Konoha without you guys." She continues to try to pry Reina off of her. "Reina can you please let go?"

Reina hugs her tighter, "No! Never!" Keiri and Ezra assist Sumire in getting out of Reina's grasp. Reina screams with anime tears, "Nooo! Nothing but death can keep me from here." Everyone sweat drops.

"Jeez Reina. Why do you always have to be so dramatic?" Ezra asks.

Sumire laughs and looks around, "Hey guys. Where is Amari?" All the girls exchange glances and smirk. Keiri speaks up, "She's over Shouyu's house. Sumire's eyes widen. You mean?"

Ezra raises her hand stopping her, "No Sumire. They are not together. Shouyu got injured at football practice and missed some time at school. She just gathered up his homework for the week and took it to him." Sumire nods, "Oh. So, she has told him yet?" All the girls shake their heads no. Sumire sighs, "She's worse than Boruto. Well, well just have to fix that now wont we?" She grins mischievously.

Amari wakes up from her fainting spell and notices she is in a huge king sized bed. She looks down at the covers and notices the red, black and white pattern on it. She looks around at the black walls and notices a large number of trophies, plaques and certificates, mostly for sports. She looks at a large picture above the bed and sees Shouyu in his uniform doing the Nice Guy pose with Rock Lee with the others in the background when they won the state championship against Konoha last year. She sees Hokage Naruto Uzumaki gives Konohamaru a brotherly headlock. Liam Takari is shaking hands with Sasuke Uchiha, Konoha's Atheletic Director.

'Wait! Red covers. Sports trophies. Picture of Shouyu.' everything comes flooding back to her mind and then she realizes that she in is Shouyu's room. She looks around and sees Shouyu sitting at his computer desk doing his work from school. He seems to be frustrated from the way he keeps violently erasing mistakes off his paper. Her thoughts are verified when he grunts in frustration and throws his calculator across the room.

She yelps in shock and Shouyu quickly turns around looking at her. "Oh Amari. Im sorry. I didnt mean to scare you. Are you okay?" he asks with a concerned look. She nods and notices his bandages have a slight blood stain on them.

Shouyu follows her eyes and looks at his shoulder. "Oh. Im okay. I was bringing my homework that you brought for me to my room and nearly dropped on of my books. I forgot about my arm and instinctively reached out for it. This is the result. But dont worry. My stitches are still intact."

She slides off the bed and walks over to him. She examines his arm for a moment. "W-we s-should change y-your b-bandages." Shouyu nods with a small smile. Amari gently removes his arm from the sling and begins to take off the bandage wrapped around his shoulder. She examines his wound closely and cleans it with the solution that his doctor Sakura Uchiha gave him. She then re-wraps his shoulder and places it back into the sling.

Shouyu blushes at the closeness and shakes the thoughts from his head. "T-thank you. Amari. For everything." Amari blushes and smiles at him. She looks over to the desk, "D-do you n-need s-some help w-with that?"

Shouyu glances over to his homework. He scratches the back of his head. "Nah. Its getting late and I have to get you home. Jai came by and got his car earlier and Riku's not here." Amari's head drops, "Oh. Okay." Shouyu puts a hand on her shoulder startling her a bit. He looks her directly in her eyes. "Amari. Dont think that I dont enjoy your company. I do. You have just done so much for me already that I cant keep letting you continue. I will be okay. Just let me drive you home. Okay?" Amari smiles and nods.

Shouyu grabs the keys to his car and then his dog runs into the room with an excited look on his face. Amari looks down at the dog. "Is t-that Sora?" Shouyu looks down at his dog and smiles. "Yeah it is. I forgot you hadnt seen him since he was a baby." Amari squats down and pets Sora's head. He licks her face and she giggles at him.

Shouyu motions for them both to go to the car. He opens the door for Amari and she slides into his car. She inhales the scent of strawberries and blushes at the thought of being in Shouyu Takari's car. With him. Alone. Sora hops in the backseat and lies down. Amari smiles at him. Shouyu gets in and struggles a bit to put on his seat belt. Amari looks worriedly at him but he gives her a reassuring smile. He starts the car and drives Amari home.

Jai is in his room reviewing the playbook for this weeks upcoming game. He notices some headlights pulling into the driveway and walks downstairs. He opens the door and sees Amari waving to Shouyu. Amari turns around and Jai has a very smug look on his face.

"You're late." he says.

She looks at him nervously and prepares to speak when Jai smirks. "Just kidding. I know you and I know Shouyu. You guys wouldnt do anything that either of you would regret." Amari blushes furiously as the image of her and Shouyu being intimate with each other flows through her head. The thoughts consume her mind and she goes blank. She faints right into Jai's arms. Jai turns his phone to face him.

"And that folks concludes another episode of The Fainting Amari. Tune in next time." he sends the video to Zhang, Riku and the others.

Shouyu – OMG! You've gotta be kidding me!!

Reina - Seriously? Lol you have got to be kidding

Jai helps Amari up to her room and tucks her in bed. "Goodnight dear cousin." He turns off her light and goes back to his room.

Shouyu makes it back home and he and Sora run into the house in a mini race. Sora smiles at him triumphantly when he makes it to the living room. Shouyu chuckles and then Kurenai comes him. "Hey Muffin. You okay? I heard you hurt yourself earlier."

Shouyu nods, "Im okay auntie. When did you guys make it back home? No one was here when I left a while ago to take Amari home." Kurenai smirks at him, "Girlfriend?" Shouyu blushes, "A-auntie. No! Shes just a friend. She brought over the homework I missed and helped me change my bandages. Thats all."

Shouyu ruffles his hair, "One day Muffin. You will have to open your heart up again. It may not be what you want now, but it is what you need. I know that other tramp hurt you, but not every woman out there is bad."

Shouyu shrugs and smirks, "Duh. You, mom and Mirai are all awesome. And Jai and Zhang's moms are awesome." Kurenai laughs, "That's not what I mean. But one day you will understand. Now go get ready for bed. You have school tomorrow." Shouyu kisses his aunt on the cheek and tells her goodnight. He goes to his room and surprisingly finishes his homework with ease. He crashes in his bed and Sora jumps in beside him.

He pats Sora's head and drifts off to sleep.
