Nia Raven Smith is the eleven year old daughter of Cedric and Gail Smith, she's the little sister of Mike Smith. She was born on April 7, 2006. Nia is independent, no-nonsense and good in science and as she is starting middle school, she wants privacy. Nia is very sassy and loves to disguise as other individuals. She loves to dance and laugh hysterically. Nia's very clumsy and sometimes too stressed. She is also very helpful, friendly, beautiful, bubbly, fashionable, feisty, kind, cool, adorable, a little snarky, clever, intelligent, and is always ready to have fun! She lives with her mom while Trip lives with their dad. Their parents aren't divorced but they are separated. She's only ten minutes away from her father and brother so it's not a big deal. She doesn't have a close relationship with her dad, but she has a great one with her mom. In fact she's become a real mommy's girl. For the most part her and Mike get along just fine, also she has a crush on Mike's best friend Junior.
Mike Francis Smith is the thirteen year old son of Cedric and Gail Smith, he's the older brother of Nia Smith. He was born on May 7, 2004. Mike is loyal, caring, and intelligent. He has demonstrated these qualities in various situations, especially when his family is involved. His intelligence and problem-solving skills have come to play in several instances. However, Mike can be manipulative and self-centered at times, which often stems from his unpopularity. He has taken advantage of his sister and friends. Mike also quickly turns arrogant if things start to go his way, and acts stuck up, normally leading to him falling back to the ground painfully. He also often blows his achievements or duties out of proportion, making himself out as far more important, popular and successful than he really is. Mike also has a habit of creating his own problems. He also often lies, and uses lying to try and solve his problems, normally unnecessarily; however, this backfires on him as it has left others distrusting of him, meaning he sometimes has trouble convincing them even when telling the truth. He lives with his dad and he's only ten minutes away from his sister and mother. He and his dad have a cool father son relationship, and he's close to his mother as well. For the most part him and Nia get along just fine.
