This chapter is something that I would like to think is sort of an ode to probably the best book on Wattpad, ' I Sold Myself to the Devil for Vinyls Pitiful I Know'.
If You haven't read it, you must.
A big shout to DarknessAndLight for bringing Blake and Lexi to life.

"This is absurd. I look horrible, I am sure he only looks good but is a horrible person. It's all going to be a big fail. I should rather just stay in." I talk to the door. Not really to the door, but to Alex who is on the other side.
"Would you hear yourself? Stop being an idiot, even though I know that's hard for you" I roll my eyes. "But trust me, it'll be fine. You really need to get out there." Another eye roll.
"Do you realize everyone is going to be out? Even your parents." He states.
"I know." I reply, I know that everyone including him was going out on a date. I mean what was it with today, it wasn't even Valentine's Day and to think everyone was going out because of me.
Confused? Let me explain.
Out of the blue.
Out of absolutely nowhere.
While I was down at the T & C Bookstore, part timing to help out the kind owner who had asked me to, when a tall dude with smooth, side swept blond hair and a pretty face approached me.
He told me not to creep out, as he told me that he knew my name and the school that I studied.
I was obviously stunned.
I had expected he had approached me to ask, where the loo was or for the least if he knew which store he was in, where the magazine stand was.
But to the contrary, he told me the fact that I worked at the bookstore, one of his favourite place, drew him towards me.
I laughed downright at his face for using that trick on me. He definitely didn't look like the reader kind, which is until then.
He seemed a little offended, but he started reading lines straight out of Shakespeare, staring dead right in my eyes.
I stopped laughing, but not blown away, he could have memorized that just to impress me.
Reading my face, he grabbed a book from the shelf next to me, "Go on, ask me a character's name or about a scene. Or just pick any book from this rack, try me."
That, right there, the confidence with which he said it, that became is winning stance. I kept the book back, to which he flashed his smile.
The next day, he asked me out.
Yep, that's right.
He walked in with a rose in his hand, took off his glares in style as he found me, flashing his what I assumed is signature smile, and simply said, "Dinner tomorrow?"
I was stunned.
That was quick.
Way too quick for me.
The words registered in my mind, I stumbled as I dropped his stare.
"I'll think about it." I all but stammered.
"Not much to think, isn't it? I like you, and I know you'll definitely like me. So, it's done then." He stated with utmost confidence.
"Urmm, no. Nothing is done. I said, I'll think about it." I say.
