Max was stood in front of you, his hands clasped behind his back, as he gazed up at you with big puppy dog eyes.

"Please (Y/N) you're the best at pranks." He whined. You smiled at him and plopped down on the floor so you could be the same height as the littlest Lightwood who tilted his head and quirked an eyebrow as if to say you know you want to.

"Fine what's you're plan little man." You said decisively as you jumped up.

"Whipped cream in his shaving can." Max nodded firmly at you and you chuckled at his plan.

"Well then let's get to work." You hummed

You and Max took a spot on one of the benches that overlooked the whole main room of the institute, ready to watch the 'Alec explosion' that would not doubt happen in a matter of minutes.

"Max!" Alec yelled. He stormed through the room looking around for his brother. "I will get you back, this is not over." Alec yelled at Max who was doubled over with laughter as Alec threw the fake shaving cream on the ground and stormed off.

"We should go hide." You whisper to Max who nods and follows you to the library, hoping to avoid Alec, as you hurried to the back of the library.

Nothing happened for the rest of the day so you assumed Alec had better things to do than prank you back.

"Hey guy's dinners ready." Izzy hummed as she knocked on your door and motioned for Max to follow her.

You both followed her to the kitchen where you found Alec and Jace already tucking into a pizza that was steaming in the middle of the table. You sat next to Jace while Max took a seat next to Alec and tucked into the food.

"Ew!" You both said at the same time, coughing when the taste of whatever they put on the pizza hit you.

"Don't mess with my shaving cream, or my Stele, or my bows." Alec grunted before sliding two plates of untampered pizza towards you and Max.

"Ok." Max hummed. You all looked at him suspiciously, he wasn't one for giving up so easily, so you all began to feel rather nervous as you wondered what plan he'd managed to come up with and you couldn't help but hope you wouldn't be blamed for encouraging his pranks.
