∞ Agenor's POV ∞
Nyx stared at me in amazement, his eyes appearing even more captivating. "Wow, you actually fixed it!" he exclaimed.
"You underestimate me," I responded, taking a step closer to him and placing an arm around his waist. "You should have more faith in my abilities, Nyx." I leaned in closer, speaking in a calm tone. "But let's not forget something important."
As I embraced him, he attempted to push me away. His rosy cheeks were the most endearing reaction.
"I truly appreciate you saving me from that deal," he said. "Thank you. Now that I expressed my gratitude, kindly remove your arm."
"You're welcome," I replied, leaning in to brush his ear with my lips. "But that's not what I'm referring to." I bit down on his earlobe and gently sucked on it.
"Agenor... wait... what are you doing?!" Nyx protested, pushing my head away with both hands. "Enough of this, okay? I've already thanked you."
"Actually, there are two things," I continued, holding him tightly. "First, you shouldn't ask anyone else for help. If you need anything, you ask me. Do you understand?"
"Alright, now let g-" he said, his voice dripping with annoyance. But before he could finish his sentence, I cut him off.
"Go ahead and ask," I said, urging him to speak his mind.
"Right now?" he asked.
"Yes, now. Is there something else you need?"
He hesitated for a moment before responding. "I want this collar removed," he said finally.
"Okay," I replied.
"Really?" he exclaimed.
I couldn't help but chuckle. "No, not really. But I understand where you're coming from. Is there anything else?"
His expression turned to one of anger as he glared at me. "No, there's nothing else I want from you, Agenor."
"Fine," I said with a shrug.
Suddenly, his demeanor changed, and he looked at me with a hint of concern. "Actually, there is something else," he said, interrupting my thoughts. "Can you release the chain for a few minutes?"
"For a few minutes?" I repeated skeptically.
"Yes, just a few minutes. You threw my necklace somewhere around here, and I need to find it," he explained.
"Why do you need it?" I asked.
"I need it. That's all," he said, but his answer left me unsatisfied. I stared at him, waiting for a better explanation.
