"Well, did you search the crash vault?" Ironhide asked as he looked down at the humans as they all gave blank faces. "The ships name was the Ark. I watched it escape Cybertron myself. It was carrying an Autbot technology which would have won us the war. And...its captain" Optimus explained as he walked over to the paltform and rested a servo on the railing. "Who is it's captain?" Mearing all but demanded.
"The great Sentinel Prime. The Technology's inventor. He was commander of the Autobots before me. It's imperative that I find it, before the Decepticons learn of its location. Our Autobot spacecraft has the ability to get us there. And...you must pray it's in time" Optimus spoke, leaning over Mearing threateningly.
"Shadow, Light, Ratchet, you will accompany me" Optimus said when he turned around. "Epic! Space trip!" Light yelled jumping up. All us Autobots turned and stared at him, not expecting such behaviour from a prime. I had to get rid of a smirk as I turned to him. "Oh...um...I mean...Let's go get another Prime, shall we?" He questione, smiling awkwardly. Optimus and I glanced at each other before looking back at him. "No?" Light asked before giving up.
"How are you going to the moon?" Mearings asked him like he'd just said 'I'm god'. "Well...I think I'll just hop on the spacecraft and go with my sister and you know teamamtes" Light spoke, playing around with her. 'She dosent know who you are' Ratchet and I spoke to him over our respective bonds. Optimus chuckling lightly over his. We found out accidently that us 4 could speak to each other over our bonds if we wanted to. Like, Optimus could speak to Ratchet through Light and I.
"It will just be us Autbots that travel to the moon" Optimus spoke, joining Light's game. I glanced at the other's, Ironhide and Sideswipe silently laughing, Dino looking on with his arms crossed, Que was tinkering with his weapons and Bee had to walk away. "We will send drones up with you to observe you. Where are the other 2 Primes?" Mearing asked, glaring at Optimus. "They are present" He answered still not giving in.
"Where are they?" Mearing asked again. "Lennox did say before that they liked to sneak out every once in a while. I'm sure they're checking on Sam" I spoke, crossing my arms and looking at Light. He nodded his agreement before we both turned to her. At this point, Lennox was breaking, strangled laughing noises coming from him. "And what are your names, soldiers?" Mearing asked, glaring at us. "Uh..." Light began, the question catching us off guard a small bit. "Liam and Shaye, ma'am" I spoke, remembering her hate hfor the name.
She rolled her eyes before glaring at us again. "Well, Liam and Shaye, go and get them, we need them for a mission" She ordered. Ironhide gave up and laughed setting Sideswipe off as well. "Whats your problem?" Mearing demanded. "Those two humans will be able to get the 2 Primes easy, no problems at all" Sideswipe answered, rubbing at his optics.
"We'll go get them" Light called to her as we began our walk to the base door. "Alright, thats enough!" Lennox yelled amused when we reached them. "But we were gonna meet Optimus and Ratchet at the Xanthium" I called back. "Just come back here" Ratchet called this time. Light and I snickered at them all, fist bumping and racing the other back. "Shadow Prime, reporting for duty" "Light Prime reporting" We both said, standing straight.
Mearing scoffed and leaned on the railing. "Shadow, Light, stop messing around, please. Before she kills you both" Lennox spoke, whispering the last part. "Yes Sir!" We both answered and transformed. "We got them, ma'am" Light mused, standing in his Prime form with me in mine by his side. We both wore small grins that were refleced on Ratchet and surprisingly Optimus. 'Your grinning!' I called to him, startling him enough to jump slightly. 'Kind of hard. You are rather amusing' He replied back making me poke my glossa at him.
"Well, let's go get us Sentinel" Light spoke, rubbing his servos together. Mearing having said a few colorful words and was now on the ground. "Haven't seen him since..." I began, trying to remember. "Would have been when you helped him create the...thingo's" Light answered making me jump up. "That's right" I said. "Lets go!" I called, running for the exit and transforming into my alt mode.
---Time Skip---
We were now walking up to the Zanthium, the Autobot spacecraft. My nerves had kicked in and were making me rather hesitant. 'Shadow, calm down. You'll be alright' Optimus reassured for the 9th time in the past hour. I vented before following him into the spacecraft and strapping myslef into my chair. Light strapped himself next to me, Optimus being pilot with Ratchet. I shut my eyes and forced myself to go into recharge so I wouldn't have to witness my nightmare.
"Shadow...Come on" Optimus called, rubbing the base of my neck undoing the strap holding me to the chair. "We there?" I asked sleepily, rubbing my optics. "Yeah, we are" He asnwered, helping me to my pedes. "You alright to walk?" He asked as I wobbled a small bit. "Yeah, I'll be perfectly fine" I assured him, taking a few steps and jumping outside. Ratchet and Light already jumping around.
Optimus walked beside some space drones before he turned back. "Le'ts roll!" He spoke, shifting into a small jog. We all followed his lead, our frame's staying in the air a second longer as we ran. "That's it" Light said as we came up to the crashed ship. We then had to use a several laser cutting weapons to get therough an outer wall before we entered. "We're entering the Ark" Optimus spoke through the com, having to do so for the humans on Earth watching through the Drones.
"There's the crash vault" Optimus said as he pointed to the hatch in the middle of the room. We followed Ratchet over to it, Optimus having pressed the open button. We all then watched as the hatch slowly opened and allowed the large frame of Sentinel and several pillars to pop out. Ratchet scanned him quickly as we all walked around him. "His levels are faint" He informed us.
"He locked himself away to protect the pillars" I stated as I moved the control pillar out to Ratchet for him to look at like he had wanted. Optimus moved around Sentinel's frame and picked him up carefully. "Sentinel. You're coming home, old friend" He said turning to us. "Shadow, Light, grab the pillars and follow me back to the Xanthium" He commanded, Light and I noding.
We quickly grabbed the remaining pillars before following him back to the Xanthium where he laid Sentinel down and got into the cockpit. 'You going to be alright?' Optimus asked me as my nerves kicked back in. 'Oh yeah, I'll be fine' I squeaked, strapping myself in rather quickly. I could hear Ratchet's laughter form where I was. I groaned when the spacecraft powered up and began the trip back to Earth.
