Chapter 16

"Let's find out" I growled as I kicked Megatron forwards. He quickly recovered and rolled missing my pede as I went to pin him. He shot back up and went to punch me helm. I ducked and elbowed his back struts before putting my axe into the side of nis neck. "What was that you said before?" I snickered as I pulled the axe out and buried it in his helm before ripping his helm form his frame. 

"Been wanting to do that for eons" I said quietly turning and watching Light began jumping up and down. I rolled my optics at him and turned to Optimus as he stood up and grabbed his gun. I furrowed my optic ridges at the sight of his lost arm but placed the concern aside for the moment. 

"Optimus...All I ever wanted was the survival of our race. You must see why I ahd to betray you" Sentinel tried to reason as Optimus approached him, his face palting slightly saddened by the situation. "You didnt betray me...You betrayed yourself" Optimus concluded as he readied his weapon and fired at Sentinel twice, offlining him.

Optimus dropped the weapon to the ground and straightened up, looking around at the destruction before venting and turning to me. I gave him a reassuring smile and gave him a much needed hug and a kiss. "It's gonna be alright" I whispered into his audio receptor as we let go of the other. He vented again, looking at me in a sad way. "I hope you are right, sweetspark" He replied before we both turned to the others. 

Sam hopped out of Bee's alt mode, looking up at us before Bee transformed. I turned and looked behind Optimus and I noticing Carly slowly making her way over the bridge. "Sam..." I said, getting his attention and gesturing my helm over to Carly. He immediately broke into a sprint, running over to her and picking her up in a tight embrace. 

Bee made a sad whir as he watched as well. Light came up beisde his friend, palcing a servo on his friend shoulder palting before whispering into his audio recptor. Bumblebee immedaitely snapped up and looked at the two lovebirds before racing over and dropping rings and cogs around them. Light and I chuckled lightly at the scene before we turned to eachother.

"Can't believe you stole my kill, sis" He whined as he punched my arm playfully. "Well you were too busy playing around" I retorted, playfully punching him back. "Besides you weren't the one who got dragged over to him and ahd to convince him not to kill you and get him to fight Sentinel" I muttered dejectedly, rubbing my helm with my servos. "Ha! That was your doing? Nice one!" Light exclaimed, giving me a fist bump before we turned to the others who were all standing around Sam and the humans.

I gave a small smile when Ratchet palced a servo on Bee's shoulder and said "You fought bravely". Light and I gave the young bot fist bumps as well and thanked him for dealing with Soundwave to which he gave a 'No big deal' shrug to before chuckling at us. We continued to stand around for a few more minutes before Lennox came running at us screaming his head off with Epps trailing at his side just as panic. 

"Guys! Guys! You all have to run! Right now!" Lennox screamed once he got to us. "What's wrong Lennox?" Light asked as we all hopped into high alert at the sound of aircraft engines. "President's ordered you guys to be terminated on sight! You have to go now!" Epps returned. "Autobots. I'm ordering all of you to seperate and go into hiding. Try to cease all contact until further command. Okay, Autobots, Roll out!" Optimus commanded as the aircrafts gots louder.

The Autobots, save Optimus, Ratchet, Light and I, all nodded and split up, going in random directions and disappearing from sight. "Ratchet, Light, stay together" Optimus said as Light gave him a nod and me a look. 'Stay safe' He said before he and Ratchet ran down the street and around the buildings, disappearing into the day. "What are you guys going to do?" Sam yelled at us in panic. "We'll hold them off for the time being" I replied as Optimus and I got into stance.
