Veronica walked into her house expecting her daughters and husband to be in the living room. She found Peter on the ground just in front of the door almost bleeding to death.
Veronica: Oh my goodness Peter!
Veronica threw her briefcase on the ground and took her jacket off, putting it on Peter's arm to stop the bleeding. She grabbed her phone out of her coat pocket and dialed 911.
Operator: 911 what's your emergency?
Veronica: My husband is bleeding to death send someone please!
The two women exchanged words and something came to Veronica's mind. She called out for her daughters.
Veronica: Spencer! Alex!
She knew Mellisa was at a friend's house so she wouldn't be here, but where were Spencer and Alex?
Veronica called for the twins a few more times before getting panicked.
Veronica: My daughters are missing as well!
Operator: Do you know who could have taken them?
Veronica: I-I don't-
Peter: Mary.
Veronica: It was Mary Drake.
Operator: Are you sure?
Veronica: Yes, I'm positive.
The Operator promised to send help and hung up. Veronica then called Mrs. Bowelson and asked her to keep Mellisa for the night without a proper reason.
Veronica: Help will come soon.
