Peter: We have to, she'll go to an orphanage if we don't.
Veronica: And that's my fault because?
Peter: Because she's my daughter.
Veronica: Yes she's YOUR daughter, because YOU made a mistake.
Peter: I thought she was Jessica-
Veronica: That doesn't change anything! You still cheated on me Peter!
Peter: I know, and am sorry, but please no one will want to take a baby born in a madhouse!
Veronica: (Sigh) Fine. But I don't want this family to interact with that, Mary Drake, or the Dilaurentis'.
Peter: Fine.
Peter gets a call from Radley Sanitarium telling him to come.
Peter: We need to go.
Veronica: Now? I didn't know it was time?!
Peter: Hurry up Veronica, we don't have time for this.
The Hastings' get into their expensive car and drive quickly to Radley Sanitarium. Peter tells Veronica to stay in the car until he comes back. He walks through the insane halls and bumps into a nurse. The nurse takes Mr. Hastings to the children's ward when a woman walks out carrying a baby girl. Peter takes the baby and leaves, giving her to Veronica in the car.

Mrs. Hastings looks into the baby's eyes and smiles. Maybe she could learn to love this child. As they pull away from the Sanitarium, a nurse runs behind the car holding a large object.
Veronica: Pull over Peter!
Peter: Why?
Mr. Hastings looks behind them and sees the nurse running to catch the car. He pulls over and allows the woman to approach the vehicle. Veronica opens her back door.
Nurse: Here you go, you forgot someone.
The nurse takes off the blanket cover the object. Another baby pokes it's head out of the blanket and looks around. The baby locks eyes with the first child and sticks out its hand, intertwining its fingers with the other baby. Veronica and Peter look at each other, realizing if they take one, they have to take the other one.
The nurse gives Mrs. Hastings the other baby, a girl, and smiles at the two twins holding hands.
Veronica: What do we name them?
Peter: Well, when I first found out, I had two names. Spencer for a boy, and Alexandra for a girl. But, since we have two of them....
Veronica: Spencer could be a unisex name right?
Peter: (Thinks for a moment) I guess so.
Veronica: Well then, there we go.
Peter: Spencer and Alexandra Dra-
Veronica: Hastings.
Peter: Yea. Welcome kids.
Veronica: They will never know.
