Maya blinked her eyes open and saw Lucas' birth mother.

"How ya feeling kid?"

She swallowed. "Awful. How did I get in a bed? Whose bed?"

Brooke sighed. "Lucas carried you after you threw up and passed out. You're in my bed. Your friends and Haley are in the living room waiting for you to wake up." Maya groaned. "Come on. You'll be okay. I've done my fair share of upset drinking my problems away, of course I was seventeen not fourteen, but still."

Maya groaned again. "I don't want to get up. I want to lay here until I die." Brooke chuckled.

"You won't die. Samantha, who is now grounded, said you only drank about a quarter of the bottle. So you'll be fine soon."

Maya sighed. "I don't even know why. I'm sorry. I was upset, I guess, but I didn't mean to drink."

Brooke helped her sit up. "Talk to me. Tell me what you were thinking." She offered nicely.

Maya sighed again. "I was-I guess I was thinking... I'm not good."

Brooke frowned. "What made you think that? You seem good."

Maya shook her head, but quickly regretted it. She groaned and put her hand on her head.

Brooke waited for the wave of nausea to pass so she could talk.

"Lucas is a really great guy and Riley, of course he'd choose Riley, she's a really great girl, but me? I'm not even good. I get into trouble, I get them into trouble sometimes, and I make fun of Lucas like all the time. I guess I just wanted his attention, but I realized, while drinking, that I messed everything up for them. I caused this stupid triangle because I fell for my best friend's guy. I tried to pretend that I didn't and keep my feelings to myself, but she found out and then she told him and then he almost kissed me." Maya took a deep breath. "I wanted him too, but he didn't, and I knew it was because he really loved her, not me."

Brooke blinked. She took her hand to offer comfort. "Honey, if you spent more time talking about how you feel and less time drinking then you would know he just broke up with Riley."

Maya was looking down, but her head snapped up. "What?!"

Brooke chuckled. "Yeah. While you were outside making a stupid choice, he was inside making a good choice, choosing the girl he loves instead of the girl everyone thought he should."

Maya stared at her. "He loves me?... Me?... You're sure?"

Brooke smiled and nodded.

Maya threw the blankets off and lept out of the bed, the room spun and her head hurt, but she didn't care. Brooke chuckled and followed close behind her.

Riley was sitting with Farkle, he was holding her hand on the couch to offer her comfort.

Haley was making some juice for when Maya woke up while she lectured Sam who was helping.

Lucas was standing, talking to Zay, when he saw Maya. She came running out of the room and knocked Zay out of her way.

"Okay! Glad to see you too!" He yelled catching himself on the arm of the couch beside them.

Before Lucas could say anything Maya threw her arms around him. He caught her, but stumbled back a bit. When he got his balance back he wrapped his arms around her and chuckled.

"Nice to see you too. You okay?"

Maya looked up at him, into his soft green eyes, and smiled. "Did you really choose me?" She asked making him grin widely.

He nodded and stared down at her bright blue eyes. "Yes, Maya, I chose you." She grabbed his shirt and pulled him down to kiss him forgetting that Riley was sitting right there watching them. "And I'm really glad I did." He said when she pulled away from him.
