He Sun's POV

My head tipped forward repeatedly as I roused from sleep, struggling against the dreary gravity of my slumber. I stifled a wide yawn, embracing a momentary burst of freshness, but it slipped away just as swiftly as it arrived, leaving me feeling heavy-lidded and disoriented.

“Where did that guy go?” I mumbled to myself, a frown deepening on my face.

Oh, he was the most rude and inconsiderate person I had ever encountered. I couldn't help but loathe him. What I needed more than anything was the comfort of my own home, a familiar sanctuary where I could dive into my work—or what I hesitantly referred to as my job. Honestly, it still felt more like a messy hobby, and frankly, that was exhausting.

With a sigh, I locked my door, casting a lingering glance over my clothes to ensure they were presentable, though I had already adjusted them for the umpteenth time.

“Ah, I actually look decent in this white cap,” I mused, shaking my head at my reflection. “What a pity you are, Ha Sun.”

Just as I was about to step out, I spotted Jungkook's door crack open, like the universe had conspired to give me an opening. I seized the moment, bolting in his direction with a mix of determination and irritation.

“Hey, you! Where did you disappear to last night? You keep putting me in these impossible situations! Are you asking for a punch in the face?” I hollered, raising my fist in mock threat.

“Whoa, look who decided to grace me with her presence! Ha Sun is visiting my humble abode,” he replied nonchalantly, as if we were old pals.

“Why do you care about my whereabouts? It's not all my fault. And about my hyung, I didn’t really believe it at first, but hey, thanks for showing concern.”

Oh really? I thought, disbelief curling my lips into a scowl.

“Listen, Jungkook, we are never going to be friends. So, do me a favor and don’t make our encounters any more difficult than they need to be. If you keep pushing me, I swear I’ll...”

“You’re the one who always starts it,” he interrupted with a cheeky smirk, his confidence radiating like a beacon.

“What do you mean by that? Don’t mess with me, just get out of my life, alright?” I shot back, frustration bubbling in my chest.

“Starts it, takes responsibility, you know the drill,” he chuckled, amusement dancing in his eyes.

“What? You’re such a freak!” I exclaimed, my eyebrow arching in disbelief.

I stormed away from him, a wave of annoyance washing over me. Was this really how my day was starting? It felt absurdly ironic to be the one caught up in such ridiculousness. I had made a terrible decision by visiting him today.

How perfect is my life, really? (-...-)

As I sauntered onto the street, my gaze plummeted to a towering building that loomed in the distance, its presence somehow managing to improve my mood despite the morning’s earlier frustrations. I was too tired to put much effort into worrying, and I forced myself to release the negativity that had already pestered me.

Suddenly, an idea struck me. I decided to treat myself and grabbed a scoop of ice cream, plopping down onto a bench at the heart of the city park. The weather was absolutely lovely, coaxing a smile to my face and igniting a spark of inspiration within me. Maybe it was time to do some drawing.

“I think the view of that street from this bench would look amazing. Ah, this spot is perfect!” My spirits lifted as excitement bubbled within.

I retrieved my sketching supplies from my trusty sling bag, carefully pulling out my pencil and preparing to etch my vision onto the waiting paper. Just as I was about to begin, a sudden gust of wind whipped through the park, grabbing my paper and sending it spiraling away. I dashed after it, determined to catch it before someone else stepped on it.
