"Just remember, they cannot know about this contract. All they need to know is that after meeting that day I apoligsed for being a dick or whatever and we hit it off straight away, okay?" His strong glare forces me to nod and he releases me from his grip and storms off into the house.

Just as I thought things had changed.

I followed after James as quickly as I could, trying to force a smile onto my face, but James' annoying personality was preventing that from happening. I entered the house and shut the door behind me, and looking up to see James waiting for me.

"Come on, we haven't got all day." He huffs, walking towards me and grabbing my hand.

He took me straight downstairs, the lights dimming slightly and flickering. I had to admit this was getting very scary and I was starting to question whether we were actually going to a band practice. We suddenly come to a dark brown wooden door and James forces it open and pulls both of us through.

"James! We thought you'd never make it!" A voice laughs and as I turn to the other boys I'm faced with three familiar faces, I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey Eleanor, nice to see you again." Tristan came up for a hug which I accepted as me being me... I wouldn't reject a hug.

I gave Brad and Connor a hug then let them set up their instruments.

"So what are you doing here today El?" Brad smiles while tuning his guitar.

I feel James' hard glare on me as I reply to Brad, "James invited me along." I sat down on the sofa opposite them, cross my legs and fiddle with my hands. I'm not the best lier.

"Oh did he?" Connor laughs and hits James on the shoulder.

"Shall we get on then?" James clears his throat and stands up, adjusting his microphone. The rest of the boys nodded and got into place. I got my phone out of my bag and clicked onto twitter while they ran through a few songs.

I do admit I had heard their style of music before and it wasn't my cup of tea. But then again, I couldn't help but listen carefully to their songs, whether the covers or original songs, and I was soon tapping my foot to the beat. Scrolling through twitter I noticed my followers had increased greatly and my mentions were blowing up. Unusual for me because I normally get no tweets unless they're from friends. I saw many fans of The Vamps had followed me which I had no idea what for.

Scrolling through my notifications, I noticed a few fans had tweeted me...

"Are you with James?"

"You and James are such a cute couple! I love you guys"

"Ew get away from James you whore."

There were so many of all kinds. Questions. Compliments. Hate. I tried to let the hate not get to me but it was pretty tough. I'm already insecure enough as it is and this is topping it. We haven't even announced that we are a couple yet. What will happen then?

"What did you think El?" James' voice brings me back to reality and I blink a few times before looking up at him with a confused look on my face.

"Of what?"

"Our set obviously." Brad chuckled, I looked at all of them and they were all staring back, waiting for an answer.

"It was awesome. I've never really liked that kind of music, but it was really good." I smile at them and shove my phone into my bag. Fuck the haters. For now.

"Yes! We have another fan!" Tristan jokes and they all get up, putting their instruments down.

"I think I'd better get Eleanor home." James shoves his hands in his pockets and stands next to me.
