Chapter 13
Aiden and I walked hand in hand on the beach, looking out at the ocean.
"Tomorrow, we're going back to Florida again," I sighed.
"Yeah, a new season coming up. You ready to kick more asses?" He teased.
I turned to him and said, "Hells yeah."
He looked in my eyes and softly said, "Alex, you are the only girl who can make play football this well."
I scoffed, "As if, last year, you were pretty good."
He shook his head, "Last year, I sucked. No one caught my throws."
"Then how come I could?" I asked confused.
"Because you're Alex, and you can do anything," Aiden said.
I laughed and we kissed. In the distance, I can hear waves crashing to the shore and birds cawing. Next season, we'll have to work harder, more than ever. But right now, I can be with Aiden and that's all I need.
