Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
I hit snooze on my phone.
Hi I'm dinana, I'm 20 years old I live alone in the beautiful city of London. I am a kindergarten teacher for special needs kids and I do love my job. It's always been my dream to live in London so I made that dream come true. I was suppose to be living here with my bestfriend, Alex, but she bailed on me and we aren't friends anymore but I'm use to it. I really have no friends or anybody. I like it sometimes but then I get lonely. I don't keep in touch with my family back home in Colorado, to be honest their all snotty and are full of themselves because they are rich, but the plus side of having a rich family is they have their assistant Rachel send me money every month to pay my rent and send extra to buy myself other necessities; but I'm pretty sure they've forgotten about me. I Haven't spoken to them in 3 years and that's how long I've been living here in the UK for.
As of right now, it's Monday. And I have class today. After laying in bed for 10 minuets I finally got up and showered. I wore jeans with a plain black V neck shirt. Which is what I worse most everyday, except when there's no school. I then did my make-up which is really light, I just put some concealer under my eyes to hide the black bags underneath, powered foundation to cover up any blemishes or discoloration then some mascara and done. I then blow dried my hair and straightened it. That was my everyday routine. For breakfast I just had some leftover pizza, wow so healthy. pizza at 6:00 in the morning. After I finished my slice of pizza I got my keys and was on my way to school.
School wasn't that far from my house it was 5 minutes, walking distance, away so I rarely drove there. Today was such a nice day out.
Once I got to school I went into my classroom and looked at my lesson plan for today. Today we are counting, storytime, and checking on our butterflies. I also had a new student today, Alice Wilkin who has downsydnrom.
Since I teach a kindergarten class, my kids don't come in until 7:30 and they get to leave at 12:30 which is a good amount of time.
"Hi Diana?" I looked over to a lady standing with her daughter. "I'm Amy Wilkin and this is my daughter Alice and today is her first day here."
"Ah that's right, hello." I smiled. "Hi Alice, I'm Diana, your teacher its nice meeting you. Do you want to go look at your seat and look around the classroom while I talk to your mummy?" I smiled down at her ad she nodded and went to the back of the classroom looking outside the window.
"So hi I'm Diana Court, nice meeting you." I smiled as we shook hands. " I like to tell my kids parents about myself so if that's fine with you I'll countinue?" I asked
"Oh yes hun go right ahead, id love to hear about my daughters new teacher." Mrs.Wilkin smiled.
"Great" I smiled. "So I'm Diana court, but I like to be called Diana instead of the whole Ms. Court. I am 20 years old and I have been living in London for three years." I continued.
"That is amazing, your 20. My, My, My, you are so young! that is great I know my little Alice will enjoy your class" she smiled "oh and also one more thing before I leave, I have to work all day today and I can't leave at all today to pick Alice up but my son Danny will be picking her up today."
"Okay thank you that's fine, see you soon" I smiled and Alice said bye and gave her a hug.
They had arrived a little earlier than class started, especially since it's her first day, so I got to sit with her and talk, I also have her a name tag and a place to sit.
At about 7:30 my first student arrived to class.
