Diana's POV:
"Danny? What are you doing here?"
"I wanna talk"
"Well you had 2 years to try and talk to me. and after all those times I tried to call out for you, You weren't there. I don't want to talk." I said about to shut the door.
"Is Dakota mine?" I opens the door again.
"Really?" I laughed "really Danny? Of corse she's yours! I don't go around sleeping with other guys! I tried to tell you, the guys tried to tell you that she had a heart beat when I went back to have surgery." I began to feel a knot in my throat, feeling like I was going to cry.
"I- I just thought they were trying to bring me don for leaving and I don't know. I'm so sorry" I looked into his eyes and saw that he was actually very sorry. I still wasn't sure if a sorry Is going to fix everything he's done.
"Sorry isn't going fix this all Danny."
"Please Diana I want to be with you, you know that. I want to be in Dakota's life, she needs to know I'm her dad."
I sighed. "please Danny. It's late and I have to be up early tomorrow for Dakota's swimming lessons."
"Can I go?"
"Maybe next time I need time to think"
I sighed. he nodded walking away as I shut the door.

"Mummy wakey up"
"Mum!!" And I felt a hand hit my face.
I opened my eyes to Dakota sitting on my stomachs smiling holding a banana "hey you don't hit mummy okay?"
"Okay mum. I sowwy." I gave her a kiss "okay let's eat breakfast and get ready for swimming lessons!"
She got off my bed cheering running to her room. she was going to put her bathing suit on that she absolutely loved wearing.
I quickly went to the toilet to clean myself up and change heading to Dakota's room who was butt naked trying to put on her bathing suit.
"Do you need help baby?"
"No! I do it myself!"
"Alright. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me" I chuckled to myself. Before making it to the kitchen the front door swung open.
"Hello gorgeous"
"Hi Charley" we gave each other a hug and he kissed my cheek like her always does. "Where's my little one?"
"She's in her room trying to put her bathing suit on. but don't Go help her she said she doesn't need help"
"Pssst.. Mummy" our heads turned to Dakota hiding behind a wall. "I need help" I chuckled
"I told you that you needed my help. come on let's go into your room." she nodded running to her room with her bathing suit in her hand.
Once I finished helping her get dressed I put her hair into a bun and took her swimming bag up to the living room.
"Hey pumpkin ready for breakfast?"
"Chawley!!!" Dakota ran to Charley, he picked her up carrying her into the counter.
After breakfast all three of us made our way to the gym where Dakota has her swimming lessons.
Once Dakota was settled in the pool with her teacher Charley and I sat on the side chairs they had.
"So guess what happened last night"
He looked over at me raising his eyebrow. "Danny came to visit me at 2 in the morning"
"Oh really? what happened?"
"Well he was saying how he's truly sorry about everything and he wants Dakota to know he's her dad and wants to be in our lives and I told him I'm not going to drop everything and forgive him, but maybe he can slow earn my trust back"
"Well what I think is you should talk to Dakota and hopefully she'll understand that Danny is her dad, she has the right to know even if you don't want a relationship with him. Diana, Dakota can't grow up with out a dad. it's great that your making him earn back your trust but I don't know if I can seem you get hurt anymore" he sighed
I nodded "yeah." I sighed "maybe I'll talk to him later when Dakota has her nap"
"Mummy! Chawley!! I can float!!"
"Wow good job baby" I smiled giving her a thumbs up.
On our way back to my flat Dakota fell asleep. Swimming always makes her fall asleep for some reason.
Charley carried he up to her bedroom soon leaving having to run errands leaving me alone.
I decided to do some online shopping because going to stores with a two year old turns into your worst nightmare. ever since my parents found out about Dakota and now that she's born have been sending me a lot more money and are actually making more of an effort to be in Dakotas and I's life. Which I was happy with, they've also told me I no longer need to go back to work and I need to spend every minute with Dakota, so that's a great thing, I guess but I want to have a job and earn my own money.
After finishing my online shopping from getting clothes for Dakota to myself and getting homeware stuff, it was time to cook lunch and clean. this was my almost everyday routine.
I decided to cook her favorite food which is Mac and cheese while drinking apple juice. In the middle of my cleaning and cooking, the doorbell rang. I really don't mind when people ring the doorbell while Dakotas sleeping, she's a deep sleeper, like really deep. i opens the door to reveal a tired looking Danny at the foot of my door.
"Hi" he whispered. I didn't say anything but moving out the way letting him in. "How are you?"
"I've been better. yourself?"
"Yeah" he said agreeing with me.
"Um I'm cooking lunch, if you want to stay over. I'm going to wake Dakota up now so uh I'll be right back."
Danny's POV:

I nodded. I look d around her place. It had completely changed since last time I was here. There's toys everywhere, little clothes and shoes everywhere. and some paper coloring on the wall that have balls of tape on them. I chuckle, Dakota highly did that. I heard small steps behind me turning my head to a messy haired Dakota.
"I drew that one and that one and that one" she said pointing to all ten coloring on the wall. "Do you like them"
"I do there amazing! I wish I could draw that good!"
"I can show you!!" She jumped up and down excitingly."and who are you and why are you in my house? Does mummy know you're here?"
"Yeah she knows I'm here and I'm - Uh"
"Dakota come sit here please" Diana walked in. she smiled at me.
"Can you lift me on to the chair please?" Dakota asked me. I nodded moving the fair forward and placing her on it. Diana placed Dakotas food infront of her with Apple juice. Then placing a plate for myself and her down as well.
"Mummy!! Thanks you so so much!! This is my favorite meal!! Mm mm mmmm"
"You're welcome baby. now eat up because after we have to go to the stores to buy more food" Diana smiled at Dakota. Dakota tapped my hand, "what's your favorite food? this is mine."
"Really? Wow! This is my favorite food too!" She smiled at me and continued to eat her food. After we were all down eating and finished cleaning up the kitchen Dakota went to get dressed and her hair done, soon coming out of her room.
"Mummy's going to change so we wait here" Dakota said sitting on the couch. while we watched tv. she covered both of us with a blanket and sat on my lap.
"You're nice and warm. like a teddy bear and I like teddy bears, so I'm going to give you a cuddle" she smiled at me. "okay" is all I said. she laid her head on my chest closing her eyes and I did the same as we soon both fell asleep to the sound of the tv.
