Today was my date with Danny and to be honest I was quite nervous.
It was currently noon and I was starving, since I ate breakfast at 5.
I decided to go out and get some subway because I'm too lazy to cook food.
It was cloudy out but I didn't look like it was going to rain anytime soon.
I put on some jeans,converse and a Blink-182 shirt, and yes I do listen to them, I'm not one of those people who just wear band shirt.
Subway wasn't too far from my house it was about at 15 minute walk.
I put my headphones in and listened to the beautiful voice of Ed Sheeran, my favorite song Cold coffee.
Once I retuned home and finished eating I just sat on the couch starring at the black tv. I was so bored, I had already showered, my flat was spotless, not because I'm a clean freak psh.
I decided just to get ready for my date with Danny tonight, doesn't hurt to get ready a couple house before, it 6. I'll just take me time.
I don't know what we're doing, so I just put on some jeans and a white V- neck shirt and a cardigan. Im really not a big fan of dressing up as you can tell but oh well. I then did my makeup and I put foundation, bronzer,blush, and mascara.For my hair I had my hair in a braid so I took them out and my hair came out wavy, I put in some hairspray and moose and I wore my converse.
I probably loved my converse more than my life, they weren't torn or anything they were just dirty and I love them, I also have a thing for dirty shoes.
When I looked at the time it was 4:57, wow getting ready literally took me half an hour.
I went back and sat on the couch and turned the tv on. I put my Boy Meets World season 2 disc on. I love Boy Meets World it's just great, I probably watched all seasons more than 5 times.
Half way through episode 21 of boy meets world there, there was a light knock on my door. I groaned and got up.
I opened the door to a very nervous, handsome Danny standing in my doorway with flowers. Oh my god, it's already time! I thought it would be some person asking me to buy stuff.
"Hi come in" I said smiling opening the door wider.
"Hi, these are for you" he smiled handing me the flowers.
"thank you they're beautiful, let me put these in water and get my shoes and purse, go ahead and make your self at home" I said walking to the kitchen.
I put the flowers in a blue mason jar and went to my room for purse and shoes.
"Ready?" I asked walking back to the living room where Danny was sitting on the couch.
"Yes you? and by the way you look beautiful" he said smiling, I felt my face heat up.
"Thank you"
We rode down the elevator since I was on the third floor.
"So where are we going?" I asked getting I to Danny's car?"
"We are going to a bar, if that's fine with you?"
"Uh well I don't really drink"
"Oh that's fine no worries love, we can go have dinner?" He said looking over to me smiling
"Sounds great"
"We can go to this pizza reasturant, if you'd like"
"I love pizzas, it's my favorite"
"Mine as well" he smiled and I smiled back. The car fell silent and listening to the radio.
We then got to the the pizza place 15 minutes later, that's what the restaurant called I The Pizza Place, which I thought was quite funny.
We got seated inside and ordered a pepperoni pizza, that was my favorite kind of pizza and Danny's as well.
"So Danny tell me about yourself, I mean you can be some kind of murder or something" we both laughed
"That I am not" he laughed. "Well okay, My name is Danny Wilkin, I have 2 other sisters, one is in your class and my other sister is 15. I'm from Blackpool,but we moved here a couple years ago, that's when I met Jake. I'm currently in a band with my three other mates, Charley, Lewi and Jake, jake you've already met at Tesco" he chuckled "and we've been together for 3 years now, we were called relics but then changed our name to Rixton. I play bass and piano and do some back up vocals, and we currently have some cover songs on YouTube. And that's me, so now your turn" he smiled then taking a sip of his drink.
"Okay well my life is going to sound super lame now" we chuckled. "Uh we'll my name is Diana Sparks, I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters back at home in Colorado, which is originally where I'm from, as you can tell I don't have a British accent. I moved here about three and a half years ago after I finished high school and came here to study special education. After I finished my studies I found a near by job at the new teaching center and I've been teaching there for about a year now. I live such a crazy life as you can tell." I laughed he smiled.
"Well at least you have a nice job and not struggling to make it in the music world, so there's a plus. and by the way I like your accent" he smiled and looked down "So your family, do you go visit them on holidays or do they come here?" he asked and I was hoping my family wouldn't come up as a subject to talk about. "Thanks, and uh no I don't really keep in touch with them. The last time I've really talked to them was my graduation from highschool. They're kinda rich and annoying so I don't really 'fit' in I guess, well that's what they said to me, but anyways they plus side to having rich parent is they payed for my college and flat, well sorta. They have their assistant Rachel send me money every month to pay for rent and necessities for myself, but I'm sure they forgot about me and just let her send me the money so yeah, I have a delightful family" I let out a laugh sigh.
"Well I'm sorry to here that but they're missing out on such a beautiful person" he smiled. I smiled back blushing like crazy.
we talk for about fifteen minutes more until we left.
we sat in his car for a couple minutes before leaving and right before we did he put a cd in.
"She's like cold coffee in the morning..." I heard Ed's soothing voice fill the car
"I love Ed Sheeran" I breathed out
"Same here, I have this Cd filled with all his songs" he smiled at me stopping at the red light. I smiled back. The rest of the way back to my house we stayed silent, nothing awkward or anything, listening to Ed.
Once we reached my flat he parked and turned the car off.
"I would like to walk you to your door" he smiled. I nodded smiling back and we got out the car.
"I had such a lovely time Danny, thank you for everything" I said reaching my flat.
"Me too, and hopefully we can do this again soon and I can introduce you to my mates."
"Yeah that would be awsome" I said smiling. Then we kinda just stood there looking ah each other for like 10 seconds.
"Well thanks again" I smiling leaning in to give him a hug which he kindly returned. I smiled and unlocked my flat.
I just the door and just let out a huge sigh and laughed and cheered. I felt to happy, tonight was great.
I changed into pjamas, washed my face and headed to bed with a huge smile on my face.
