"Merry christmas eve!" called Anthony as he walked into Ians room holding Ians breakfast.
"5 more minutes" groaned Ian.
"Nope, I've brought you breakfast!" Anthony fanned some of the smell towards Ian.
"Well, when you put it like it like that" Ian sat up and began eating his breakfast.
Anthony sat down at the end of Ians bed, "Remember anything?"
Ian shook his head.
"Oh... wait - I have a few things that could help, one minute" Anthony jogged out of the room.
Ian could hear a lot of racket from Anthonys room. Ian put his now finished breakfast tray on his bedside table.
Anthony came back in the room holding a small box of stuff, "I know it's not a lot, and that they're nothing big, but they're the most meaningful" Anthony gave the box to Ian then sat down next to him.
Ian pulled out a bunch of string bracelets, "I don't remember these, sorry" he saw Anthonys eyes getting a little watery.
"It's fine - when we were younger we bought them for eachother all the time," Anthony smiled weaklly.
Ian was pulling out all sorts of things, "I'm so sorry, I'm trying but I can't remember anything,"
"Well you're obviously not trying hard enough" Anthony regretted saying it, "I'm so sorry Ian, I didn't mean it"
"It's fine, I'd get frustrated as well, but I am trying it's just, I can't remember, I can't remember this house, I can't remember anything - it was hard for me to sleep last night because I was racking my brain about you, my heart keeps screaming at me that you mean the world to me, but my brain can't remember and won't register it," said Ian.
Him and Anthony were nearly in tears.
"I know," said Anthony, "I need to pee". Anthony left the room and went into the bathroom, he closed the toilet lid and sat on it.
"I can't handle this..." he said to himself.
He looked at the sink and saw the small box of blades for his razor - he leaned over to the sink and grabbed the pack...

Ian threw everything on the floor, "Why me? Why can't I remember anything?" he screamed to himself.
Ian went to the bathroom to apologise to Anthony, "Anthony?" he knocked on the bathroom door. No response. He put his ear to the door.
"I can't handle this..." he heard Anthony sob.
"Anthony?" Ian said a bit louder, trying to open the door. He then heard a packet shaking, the only packet in there are the... blades.
"ANTHONY!" Ian shouted, no response again. Ian kicked the door again and again until the lock broke and it swung open. Ian ran to Anthony, who was on the floor with an open packet of blades next to him.
"Anthony you didn't do anything did you?" Ian began to lift up Anthonys sleeves to see if anything happened.
Anthony shook him head, "I was too weak."
"You're not weak Anthony you're very strong, so don't, please don't try this again" Ian and Anthony were both crying.
Anthony gave Ian the blade, which Ian put back in the packet and shut it tight then pulled Anthony close.
"Anthony I can't lose you, not now, not ever, you're helping me remember?" It's christmas tomorrow and I promise that one day I'm going to get better. I promise" Ian whispered in to Anthonys ear.
"Thank you," Anthony sniffled a little, "I just want my best friend back. That's all I need, my best friend" Anthony finished.
