Chapter 8 - "Friendly" Meet Up

It was a few days later and the boys decided to have a double date with their girlfriends.

"Dude, hurry up!" called Ian who was waiting by the door.

"I'm coming! Don't get your knickers in a twist" said Anthony as he came down the hall, "ready".

"That shirt..." Ians voice was hushed.

"Yeah, I found it behind my wardrobe, forgot it even existed" Anthony let out a small chuckle.

"I bought you that shirt for your birthday"

"Oh, I;m, sorry, I -"

"It's okay, don't worry about it" Ian smiled so Anthony didn't see he was hurt.

"Phew! Okay let's go" Anthony walked out the door, Ian followed him out.

'I don't have feelings for Ian, I love Kalel.

I don't have feelings for Kalel I love Ian' Anthony slipped up in his own thoughts.

Ian jumped into the passenger seat as Anthony sat in the drivers seat.

"Are we picking Kalel up first?" Ian asked.

Anthony couldn't hear him over his own thoughts. He loved Kalel right? And Ian was just his friend, wasn't he?

Ian waved his hand in front of Anthonys face, "Anthony?"

"Huh? Umm, yeah... wait, what?" Anthony said confused.

"You're so cute when you're confused," did he say that out loud? "you know, like a rabbit" Ian added to save himself.

"Oh yeah" Anthony laughed.

"So are we picking Kalel up first?"

"Yeah, then we'll pick Melanie up".

Anthony pulled out of the driveway and began to drive to Kalels house.

When they got to her house, she already waiting outside.

"Hey babe" Kalel leaned through Anthonys window and kissed him.

"I'll move into the backseat" said Ian as he got out of the car.

"Thanks" Kalel walked to the passenger seat.

Before Kalel got in the car she gave Ian the dirtiest look Ian had ever seen, Ian didn't uunderstand why, but he decided to ignore it and got in the car.

They drove to Melanies house to pick her up.

"Hey guys!" Grinned Melanie as she climbed in the backseat next to Ian.

"Hello" everyone replied.

Ian gave Melanie a kiss.

"Aww" went Anthony, but Ian could hear Kalel quietly going 'eww'.

"So where should we go" questioned Anthony.

"A movie?" Ian suggested.

"urgh, no!" said Kalel.

"Bowling?"  Melanie enquired.

"What are we, five?" replied Kalel.

Kalel was starting to annoy Ian and Melanie.

"Where do you want to go?" Anthony tried to lighten to mood by saying that happily.

"I know, a restaurant!" Kalel decided.

"Okay, I know where quite a lot of them are" Anthony began driving.

After the long drive of finding a restaurant and Kalel not liking it, they finally found a restaurant that she approved of.

They walked  into the restaurant and was greeted by a waiter. "Hello, I'm going to be your waiter for today, just follow me and I'll show you to your table."

They got to their table and sat down to begin looking at the menus.

"I'm going to order the chicken dish, what about you guys?" Ian looked up from the menu to see Kalel and Anthony whispering to eachother behind the menu, Ian sighed and turned to Melanie.

"What would you like?" he asked.

"Oh, I'm not really that fussy. I'll have what your having... the chicken dish. See, I listen" she smiled.

Ian held Melanies hand "Thanks".

Anthony and Kalel put down their menu.

"Okay while we were ordering we were deciding whether to tell you now or later," said Anthony.

"And I- we, decided to tell you now" Kalel smirked.

"What is it?" Ian looked at the couple

"We're go-" Anthony was interrupted.

"We're going to new york!"  squealed Kalel.

"What?" Ian choked a little by surprise.

"Yep, and it was all Kalels idea" Anthony praised Kalel.

"What about your youtube channnel?" asked Melanie.

"Yeah, Anthony we have a bunch of stuff to record" Ian added to Melanie.

"It's only a week, " replied Anthony.

Kalel smiled evilly, "And your subscribers will understand that you guys have lives.

"Yeah but-" Ian tried.

"I need to go to the toilet, anyone else?" Kalel glared at Ian.

"Uh, yeah, me too" Ian stood up.

They walked over to the toilets but when they were out of sight Kalel pushed Ian to the ground.

"Hold on, what have I done to you?" Ian stood back up.

"Now you listen to me," Kalel avoided the question, "I know you have feelings for Anthony so don't try to ruin anything for us, okay?"

Ian stood stunned... how did she know?

"No I don't" He finally spoke up.

"Cut the crap, I'm going to tell you this one, if you do anything to sabotage mine and my boyfriends relationship, I'll make it so you two don't see eachother ever again" Kalels voice was as cold as ice.

Kalel gave Ian a look so terrible he froze to the spot, Kalel walked back to the table.

What was Ian going to do? Should he tell someone?

No, he's not going to do anything, he's not going to tell anyone, he's going to be happy - well pretend to be happy, he's going to pretend to be happy about Anthonys girlfriend.

Just for Anthony, he'll pretend to be happy.
