Chapter 18 - She Led Him Upstairs

The two woke up to hear a small murmering from downstairs.

Ian got up and began to slowly get dressed, "Who's here?"

Anthony shrugged and checked the time, "It's only 12 in the afternoon. We've been asleep for like, 2 hours".

When they were finished getting dressed, they went downstairs and into the living room, which is where the small noises were coming from.

"What are you doing here?" said Anthony.

"Oh - I just wanted to see you" smiled Kalel as she pulled out the one headphone she had in. The noise was Kalel singing quietly along to her music.

Ian spoke up, "How long have you been here?"

"Not long, even though that's none of your business" she said bitterly.

'I've been here long enough to of heard you two fucking upstairs', Kalel thought.

"Do you remember anything?" she said to Ian.

"Yeah, but it's still a bit fuzzy. Just give it a few more days," Ian replied.

"Good for you!" she was being sarcastic.

'Obviously hitting you with a car didn't teach you a lesson - I said at the restaurant if you ruin mine and Anthonys relationship, I'll make it so you two never see each other... and I never break my promise'  she thought evilly.

'Shit! I remember her, and what happened at the restaurant. Why is she doing this?'  Ian thought.

"Wait, how did you get in?" Anthony broke Ians and Kalels thought process.

"When we were in New York I got a copy of your key, because I can't stand it when I can't see you" Kalel stood up and kissed Anthony.

Anthony pulled away quickly, feeling guilty that Ian was in the room.

"I got your present," Kalel whispered in Anthonys ear.

"Where is it?" Anthonys said.

"Upstairs" she pulled on his hand with a devilish grin, she led him upstairs, left him wondering what was happening.

When Ian heard Anthonys bedroom door shut he flopped down on the sofa.

"I remember you and your twisted mind," Ian began talking to himself, "I guess everything is back to normal. Me loving Anthony, but Kalel pulling him away, making him chase her around and Anthony thinking she's an angel - when she's not. He'll never know how much she hurts me".

Ian pulled his phone out and called Melanie.

"Hello?" he heard her voice.

"Hi! I've got a present for you" Ian smiled even though he knew Melanie couldn't see it.

"What is it?" she asked.

"My memory".

Ian could hear Melanie crying out of happiness, "I hate hearing you cry, it reminds me of the night we met and how broken you were"

"Ian you really do remember! You are so cute, I am so in love with you right now" said Melanie.

"Anthony" Kalel moaned.

Anthony had to act as if he was enjoying it, but he couldn't stop thinking about Ian, his blue eyes, his cute hair cut...

"Ian" Anthony whispered accidently.

"What?"

"Uh - I said Kalel"

"Oh, okay" Kalel pulled Anthony in for a kiss.

Anthony knew he thought Ian, he said Ian... he meant Ian.

"Okay, I'll just get ready then I'll be right round" said Melanie.

"Okay, love you"

"Love you too, bye"

"Bye" Ian hung up. He listened to the silence of his phone for a few seconds then put it down. Another thump and moan came from upstairs.

'I finally had him back in my life... but then she slithered in like a snake and took him away - I can't let her stop me from seeing Anthony, but I want Anthony to be happy'  Ian thought.

Ian felt tears welling up in his eyes, so he shut them, "No crying on christmas" he said to himself.

He opened his eyes again then walked to the bottom of the stair, "GUYS," he shouted up to them, "MELANIE'S GOING TO BE HERE IN LIKE TWO MINUTES SO YOU BETTER GET DOWN HERE" he went and sat back on the sofa.

He heard them fumbling upstairs, trying to act as if they want doing what they were doing.

'She's ruining my life by taking the most important thing away from me, she's taking Anthony' Ian couldn't help but worry about Anthony, he wanted to say all of this out loud, but he couldn't.
