Anthony was waiting outside Ians room at the hospital. Anthony stayed there all night, his hair was all ruffled up as he kept running his hands through it because he couldn't stand the waiting, the clock just opposite him kept ticking, and ticking.

The doctor finally came out of the room "Anthony, you can come and see Ian. Don't worry, he's alive and healthy, but..." the doctor stopped talking.

"W-what? But what? What h-happened?" Anthony stuttered. The doctor didn't reply.

Anthony pushed the doctor out the way and walked into Ians room, "Ian?" Anthony went towards the hospital bed.

"Umm, yes?" replied Ian.

"Oh thank god! You're okay!" Anthony hugged Ian.

"Uhh, thanks but..." Ian slowly and gently pushed Anthony off him, "who are you?"

"I'm - I'm Anthony, your best friend," said Anthony very confused.

"I have a bestfriend?"

The doctor walked in.

"Anthony, Ian has been damaged... in the brain, he can't remember anything" said the doctor.

"What? No, he has to remember... he HAS to!" Anthony raised his voice a little, Anthony started crying again.

"Anthony? Is that your name?" asked Ian.

Anthony nodded.

"I'm so sorry I can't remember, I really am, but all I can remember are two headlights, then darkness. I promise, I'll come back to your house an-"

"We live together," corrected Anthony.

"Our house, sorry, and then you can help me remember, the doctor said it was possible if I have things surrounding me that could jog my memory!" Ian smiled as he got out of the hospital bed.

"And I promise to help you," said Anthony as he pulled Ian into a hug.

Ian was tense, but slowly slipped in the hug, letting Anthony hold him tight.

"Let's go home" whispered Ian. Anthony nodded in response.

Anthony quickly dialled a car hire number so he could drive home, as his other car was in the crash even though Anthony wasn't driving it.

When the rented car came, the pair got in the car together. Anthony was about to start driving, but he decided to ask Ian a question.

"Do you remember our youtube channel?"

"No, I can't remember a lot about my life, why?"

"You have a girlfriend," Anthony was staring out in front of him instead of looking at Ian, "do you remember your girlfriend?"

"No, but-"

"Do you remember mine?"

"No! Anthony, why did you ask about the youtube channel first and girlfriends second?" asked Ian.

"Because the youtube channel was the only thing stopping us from becoming strangers... but now you've forgotten about it" replied Anthony as he began driving back to their house.
