The Confesion

-Ed's POV-

I stand at the gate to central, my mind racing. What the hell Is that colonel bastard gonna say this time 'I would ask for the report, but I can't see you.' or 'Where did you run off to this time Fullmetal.'" I come back to reality when I hear Al's voice

"What's wrong brother?" he asked concerned

"Oh nothing, just ya know waiting to see what verbal abuse I will be receiving from the colonel" I replied. Al just chuckled and opened the gate

We walked down the halls of Central Command until we reached Mustang's office I wait then Hesitantly slam open the door.

"Hello Fullmetal."

-Mustang's POV-

"Hello Fullmetal." I said as the door swung open "How was your little trip. Is it true about you and Envy" I clenched my fists at the sound of that beast "And what about the Philosopher's Stone?"

"Oh so you know everything I do, is that what this is? Great glad we had this little talk" He replied.

"Calm down Fullmetal, try to at least act like you care about the fact that you got kidnapped!" I said getting more furious." Ed stopped dead in his tracks

"How did you know about that?" He asked concerned

"Greed told me, he also told me about Envy" I said coldly

"Did he now, I'll have to talk to him about blabbing when he comes back with Envy."

I stopped "H-He's bringing Envy" I said Furiously "Why would you ask him to bring that monster here!"

Ed slowly turned around and glared at me, Before I knew it he was holding a blade against my neck. "Call him that again, I dare you." He said with almost no emotion

"What? A monster, c'mon you can't seriously be mad about that." He transmuted a fist that came up to punch me in the stomach. "Realy, that's what you want to do now?" I looked up, his furious expression hadn't changed. "Fine" I said under my breath. I snapped my fingers causing an explosion, he blocked with a quickly transmuted wall. The last few shots he wasn't as lucky, I snapped over and over again giving him no time to transmute. "Ready to give up Fullmetal?" I asked smugly

"Why are you getting tired, I'm not but if you insist we'll stop" He said out of breath. With out another word I walked out.

-Ed's POV-

Mustang walked away with out another word. From behind me I heard a familiar voice.

"Defending me now are you?"

Envy! "It wasn't right that they call you a monster" I said coldly

"Why did, you defend me pipsqueak?" he said curiously

"I already told you" I said straining my voice as I attempted to stand up "Remember? At you at your Fathers lair."

"Oh I sure as hell remember, you can't very well forget when someone says they care about you." he said "I haven't been able to get it out of my head."

"And why is that Envy?" I said, almost laughing when I saw Greed on the windowsill behind Envy.

"Yeah, why is that Envy" I heard greed say from behind him

I tried to get up again but screamed in pain and fell back to the floor.

Envy unfolded his arms and came running over to me. "Ed!"

"What now you're helping me again?" I said wincing.

"Of course I'm helping you, you dumb pipsqueak! You are supposed to help people you care about, aren't you?" he yelled blushing

"Sooooo what, ya both said you cared about each other waddya gonna do now? Greed said lauhing. Envy and I turned to look at Greed, then started laughing
