-Ed's POV-
I woke up to see Envy's tent was empty "Maybe I was too hard on him." I muttered to myself. "Hey, Mustang Where's Envy?" I asked.
"He..Uuh he left." He replied nervously.
"WHAT?! Dammit I knew I was too hard on him!"
"Fullmetal calm down! He probably just went for a walk."
"At 1:00 AM!"
"Fullmetal.."
"No.. I have to find him."
"Fullmetal wait!" He yelled grabbing my arm
"Shut up Mustang!"
"That is no way to talk to your superior Edward!"
"Oh so now you're just my superior! I heard you talking to Envy last night..."
"Ed.."
"I don't wanna talk I need to find Envy." I said walking away when I heard noise from behind me I whipped around to see a gold-toothed doctor holding Hawkeye in one arm, and Mustang in the other. "What the...Who the hell are you!" I screamed but he just flashed a toothy grin then used some sort of alchemy to vanish. "What the hell! No! Dammit! HOHENHIIIIIME!"
"Ed..." Said a familiar voice.
"Envy? What are you doing back here?" I asked surprised.
"I-I had to see you." He said getting flustered. "They took Mustang witch means The Promised Day is here. I came to wish you good luck. So... good luck, Pipsqueak." He said turning to exit.
"Wait! If they took Mustang to force him to transmute, that means that if he had Hawkeye..." I said trailing off with my eyes widening in terror.
Envy took notice and walked over to comfort me. "Don't worry, as long as he plays along then Hawkeye and him should be fine." He looked as if he wanted to say more but before he could this weird eye shaped portal appeared with dozens of shadow like hands reaching towards me to pull me through. The last thing I heard as I was being pulled through was Envy's voice "Ed! Dammit not you too!" The voice cried, but it was to distorted, it didn't seem like Envy anymore. I opened my eyes to find myself in dark room along with Al, Hohenhime, Izumi, and...Mustang. I sat there for a while thinking. Where have I seen that portal before, I know I've seen it.
"Edward?" I heard a voice say, I looked up expecting to see Mustang...but I saw Hohenhiem.
"You..." I growled glaring at him. I stood up and pinned him by his neck against the wall.
"Edward...let go." He said, gasping for breath
"No! Why should I! You abandoned me and Al, left mom to die, and didn't tell us about Envy! Or, sorry would you prefer 'William'!" I shouted at him, seeing his face change.
"Now, now Edward this isn't the time for family feuds. There's work to be done." Father's voice echoed in the shadows.
"Now if you could kindly let me go so I can help fight that would be great." He said sarcastically.
"Fight? Hohenheim, I gave you good life and you plan to kill me? Heh...Not today." He said chuckling. "Today I will obtain God. You can't hurt me!"
"You gave me a good life? Ha you wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for my blood." Hohenheim said smugly.
"And you would still be a slave if it weren't for me!" Father yelled shooting weird alchemic orbs out of his hands.
I made a mental check list with all of the things Envy told us to do."So, on the promised day all of the sacrifices will be pulled through portals to our Father and Hohenhime." Okay, check. "His alchemy will get drained, so if you fast enough which I know you are you'll be able to drain his energy." Okay I haven't done that yet... "As for you, Mustang. They plan to capture you and force you to transmute so if you go along they won't kill anyone, if you lose something vital I can help with that." My heart dropped "MUSTANG!" I yelled running over to him. "Hey colonel, you okay? Say something!"
