Central Command

-Mustang's POV-

"Alphonse, I want you to tell me everything that happened. Now." I said firmly. 

"H-He took him...he took brother..." Al said 

"Who took him Al? Who took Fullmetal!" I said furiously. W-Why am I so worried about Fullmetal, It's not like I care for him I guess I've just always felt like what happens to him is my fault because I'm his commanding officer. Al's worried sob's made me realize what I had done " I'm sorry Alphonse I didn't mean to yell, but please I need a detailed report of what happened." I said  

"Okay"sniffed Al, "here's what happened"

-Flashback-

 "Brother, have you found any leads on the stone yet?" I asked 

"No, not yet. Sorry Al." Ed replied 

"Oh ok...what about now?"

"no."

"Now?"

"Nope!"

"Now?"

"SHUT IT!"

"OK!..Jeez."

"U-Umm.....A-Alphonse...?"He said worryingly 

"Yes? What is is brother?" Al replied. 

"Look behind you!" I yelled

"Hello Fullmetal pipsqueak. Miss me?"

Ed sprang to attack but Envy morphed into his true form and slammed Ed down to the ground and pinned him underneath his paw. I tried to help but I froze. Brother quickly transmuted a fist and punched Envy in the gut, he growled changing back into his usual form he clutched his stomach waiting for it to heal. Ed took that chance to charge Envy and stabbed his stomach with his arm blade, Envy cried in pain and flung brother at a wall. He looked like he felt guilty as he ran over to Ed, but instead of killing him he slung Ed over his shoulder and ran.

-Flashback End-

"I-I just felt so helpless, it's all my fault brother is missing" Al cried "I-I'm s-sorry,"

"A-Al, We need to find F-Fullmetal...s-soon" I said my voice shaky  

"Mustang are you ok" Al asked.  "You seem more affected by this than me."

"I'm fine. Lieutenant Hawkeye your in charge until I get back." I ordered. 

"Yes sir." Riza responded obediently

"C'mon Al" I said, "Let's go"
