It was a Friday night and I was laying in bed trying to figure out what I should do tonight. Harry was working late tonight so I couldn't order in pizza.

I wasn't sure if Alex was working tonight. I decided to text him just in case he was.

Y: Are you at work??

A: No, we got let out early

Y: Want to go to the movies?

A: Sure thing :)

Y: There is one in like an hour. We can grab a bite to eat beforehand?

A: Is Harry gonna come?

Y: Umm no. He has work and this is supposed to be a date night. Why??

A: No reason. Just asking. I'll pick you up in fifteen

I put my phone down. Okay, that was a little strange. I shook off the feeling and went into the living room to wait.

There was a knock at the door and I stared at it before getting up. I was not expecting anyone, and Harry obviously had a key to his own apartment. I looked through peephole and let out a breath when I saw Alex shifting on his feet. I swung the door open.

"Alex, what are you doing up here? I thought we were going to the movies," I told him.

"Change of plans. Let's just stay in," he replied, kissing me and kicking the door close behind him. "I haven't been over in a while."

I chuckled. "It has only been four days, babe."

His hands went to my hips while he buried his head against my neck. "Still too long," he mumbled. His hands slipped lower and moved to my backside, slightly squeezing.

My eyebrows shot up. "Oh!"

"Let's go to your bedroom," he whispered in a sultry voice.

I grabbed his hands in mine and pulled him towards the hallway. "Come on, then."

When we got inside, I didn't even have time to pull off my shirt. Alex nudged me toward the bed and I fell onto my back.

He climbed over me, pushing my hair out of my face. His hand snaked lower, past my stomach and to the top of my jeans. He deftly got the button undone.

All of a sudden, our escalating make out session was interrupted by the slamming of a door.

Alex sighed, hanging his head down, and slid off of me. "Are you fucking kidding me?" he muttered.

"Calm down. He lives here, too," I said, propping myself up on my elbows.

"Don't you think I know that?" he shot back.

I stared at him. " We can continue this another time. Why are you getting so worked up?"

He shook his head, dragging his fingers through his hair. "I'm not," he replied in a sharp voice.

Things have started to get like this between Alex and I. This was not the first time Harry was a factor in our arguments.

Alex always wanted to know what was going on when I mentioned him. I had caught him looked weirdly at Harry sometimes. When we both weren't working, Alex wanted to hang out with only me. Not even with our other friends in the off chance that Harry might have decided to join. They hadn't seemed like big things honestly. I just thought Alex probably didn't want to feel left out.

I sat up. "Is everything okay?"

His eyes shifted to mine. "Yes. Everything is fine." He could tell I wasn't convinced and sighed, pulling me against his side, placing a kiss on my head. "I'm sorry. I'm acting like an ass."
