My next day was completely free, Mrs. Stellard agreed to letting me do whatever I want on Sunday, and that night Shannon agreed to take me to Mark's house for the party. Currently, Chris and I were killing the blue slopes at the lodge.

"You're going to Mark's party?"

I nodded, trying not to get too close and end up tumbling the rest of the way down.

"Yes! I'll show you around, Mark's family literally reeks of money."

"Isn't everyone stinking rich here?" I asked, walking here with Chris I caught glimpses of hidden property that from my guess and from what I saw, would cost in the millions and above.

Chris shrugged, "I guess, I wouldn't put it that way though. But Mark's family, they're swimming through generations and generations of inheritance literally, each generation adds on like a million or a thousand to the inheritance for the next line of family."

I whistled, even though I was sure he couldn't hear me through the wind whistling past us. "Jesus."

"Yeah, Jesus," he agreed.

The first thing I saw entering the house, was Emily's sneering face and her gold phone being shoved in my face. "What the fuck?"

"You're going to Mark's party?"

I shrugged, "Am I?"

"You little bastard," Emily scowled, "How do you even know him?"

"He's my boyfriend." I replied curtly, this was going to go nowhere.

"Shut the fuck up, I know how you're going. You snuck into my room, took my phone, and sent the address to yourself, huh? And then Mark now knows I have a little brother, and he wants you, to fucking go." Emily screamed.

Shannon suddenly appeared, smirking, "I'm going too."

Emily's face turned red, "I'm going to tell mom." she seethed.

"That I reportedly 'stole into your room took the invitation and invited myself'?" Shannon laughed, "I'm pretty sure there aren't even any invitations at all for the party."

"You're not going, you're fifteen. This is not for both you."

"We're going." I said, Emily looked at me, her face now bright red and veins were pulsing on her neck.

"Before you explode on him, you should next consider what you're doing more carefully. The reason why Elis got invited was because he found your group of 'boyfriends' in the backyard. As if mom would give them permission to run around here."

Emily's eyes widened for a moment, before they returned to their original angry state. Seething she stomped up the stairs to her room.

Shannon grinned, I suddenly noticed her oddly shaped bathrobe and slippers. "What are you wearing?"

She laughed, "The good ol' disguise." untying the knot, the bathrobe fell to her feet. She was wearing a shimmery, black cocktail that hugged her body and emphasized her tan. Underneath the slippers were a pair of short heels that matched the sequins on her dress. "Ta-da!"

I raised my eyebrows, "Why are you wearing that?"

"Because the party starts in less then ten minutes!"

I shrugged, "Okay, let's go."

Shannon's face registered shock, "What? Are you telling me you're going in that?"

Offended, I looked down at my outfit, which I thought was perfectly fine. "What?"

Shannon suddenly smirked, "Nevermind, let's go or else we'll be late!"
