Chapter 17

May 24, 2016.

Aaliyah

Aaliyah continued to place small kisses on David's neck, wrapping her arms around him even tighter if that was possible. He rubbed small circles into her back causing the hairs on the back of her neck to stand up. She pulled back and looked into his eyes. All that she saw was sincerity and admiration, this caused her heart to clench a little. The two were falling for each other quickly, more than they could even process properly. Smirking at David, Aaliyah crawled out of his lap and searched for a T-shirt to cover her exposed chest. They got a bit carried away last night and that alone had her in good spirits.

As she reached for the large undershirt that coated the dark wood of David's bedroom floor, he pulled her back into bed. This time she laid between his legs with her back against his chest. David moved her hair out of the way so that his lips would come into contact with her neck.

"Mhm Mhm." Squirming under his touch she managed to successfully break away. She was able to finally put on the T-shirt and start her day. David watched her gather the things she needed to complete her hygiene, he smirked as she smiled at him before closing the bathroom door.

Because he didn't want to invade much of her personal space, he had done enough of that last night. He decided to wash his face and brush his teeth in the guest bathroom. It held everything he needed. That didn't take too much of his time so he made breakfast for them both. It was only pancakes and bacon left in his home so it had to make do. He used his phone to make a reminder that he had to go grocery shopping. After that was completed he placed the two plates and both glasses of orange juice and protein shake on the tray. He didn't understand how Aaliyah  could drink so much of the juice and not get tired of it. He really only had it in his fridge because of her. After adding a few grapes and cut up strawberries on the plate he headed up the stairs.

Although David was a neat freak he only decided to eat in his bed because he'd have to wash the sheets later on. Shortly after Aaliyah graced him with her presence, fully dressed for the day with little to no makeup on. Her effortlessness is what he most adored about her, she could make scrubs look like a million dollar outfit.

She noticed the breakfast in bed set up and smiled at her boyfriend. Everyday he managed to make her smile even wider than the day before and it made her heart melt every time.

"For me?" She asked sliding into bed with him. He only nodded at her due to his mouth being filled with fruits.  Aaliyah noticed the juice from the fruits escaping out of his mouth and draining down the sides. She reached over and licked it away pecking his lips in the process.

For the remainder of the morning they ate breakfast and watched reruns of Friends on tv. It was a little after 7 o'clock in the morning, and by this time David had already taken a shower and gotten ready for the day as well.

"Text me later?" Aaliyah said speaking through her car window.

"I gotchu." David said through his. Nodding she reversed out of the lot blowing her horn in the process. David blew his and did the same.

4:37 p.m.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." Aaliyah sighed as she  exited the classroom. David helped her study for it last night and she was sure she did well. Throwing her pen in her backpack, she made her way out of the classroom. After this she had one more exam left on Thursday and she'd be done with her Junior year at Clark. Soon she'd be done with her senior year and walking across the stage. Aaliyah was beyond over it at this point, she just wanted her degree. Heading towards the exit of the building her phone began to rang, searching through her cluttered bag she saw rose gold 6s lighting up as it rang. She was over the phone and was ready to upgrade whenever Apple decided to drop the 7/7plus.
