"Thank you." He said.

"Whatever." Chan rolled his eyes as he sped off.

That night, Jeongin cried himself to sleep, because that was when he realized, he would never be the son his parents wanted him to be.

The next day, Jeongin was cautious when walking in to school.

He didn't want to run in to Chan.

He was ashamed of himself for what he did and embarrassed beyond belief.

He couldn't face the older.

Until he ran in to a firm chest.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't see you." He apologized, quickly bowing.

"Jeongin." A deep voice said.

Jeongin froze, then looked up to find Chan's hard gaze fixated on him.

"Ch-Chan!" He stuttered as he quickly stepped back.

"Yes, I am Chan." The older sarcastically replied.

"Um- I uh-" Jeongin was at a loss for words.

"Spit it out." Chan said unenthusiastically.

"Thank you!" Jeongin suddenly shouted, causing others to spare a glance to see what was happening.

"What?" Chan replied.

"For- for taking me home, I mean. Thank you." Jeongin repeated.

"Oh. Right." Chan said.

Jeongin looked up at him expectantly.

"What?" Chan asked.

Jeongin raised his eyebrows, trying to silently tell Chan something.

"You're welcome, I guess?" Chan said.

Jeongin smiled, glad he got the response he wanted.

"What's up with you today?" Chan asked.

"Huh? Nothing!" Jeongin replied.

Chan look at him skeptically. "Whatever." He said.

"So," he continued, "you want to come over after school today?" He asked.

"Wh-what?" Jeongin stuttered.

"You know, for studying?" Chan said, wiggling his eyebrows.

"O-oh." Jeongin replied. "About that-" he trailed off.

"What?" Chan asked.

"I'm not gay." Jeongin said.
