Imagine Loki Being Your Soulmate

You were aggravated, to say the least. Bumping into Natasha made you truly see that. Watch it! You sign, glaring at her.

"Sorry _____. You feeling okay?" She asks.

Yeah, sorry. I didn't realize that today is what it is. You sign, looking at the ground.

"Oh my gosh! Today is the anniversary of that day isn't it!" She gasps, apologetically.

You nod and continue walking to your room, book in hand. Without warning the flashback hits.

-BUH BUH BUH... FLAAASHBAAACK!-

"Come on. I really like you. Just talk to me. I know that this is your voice in my head. I know that you hear my voice in yours. Are you just nervous because I work for HYDRA and Captain America is your best friend? ____, we'll work something out!" John says, smiling.

In all honesty, you hated the guy. You were friends with his sister, Jane, who absaloutely hated him. Once he found out about you, he never left you alone.

You know you shouldn't say anything. She told you he was obsessed with finding his soulmate and he was sure it was you. She warned you that he would do something terrible to you if you weren't his soulmate, which you weren't.

"What more convincing do you need?" John asks.

Go to hell, you sign. He laughs, grabbing your breast and leaning down to kiss you. That's when you snap. "Listen here buddy. I ain't your soulmate. I never will be. I pray that you change for whoever it is, or better yet, don't meet them. I have told you no, countless times, so I suggest you leave," You snarl, but when his eyes darken, you realize your mistake.

"If I shouldn't meet mine, you'll never get to tell yours who you are," He grins wickedly, knocking you out with one punch.

You wake up to loud noises, some sounding like gunshots. Groggily, you look around. When you see Steve, you try to shout, but nothing comes out. You try again, but still nothing. You black out again, mainly from fear.

"_____. _____, wake up," Steve says shaking you gently.

Your eyes flutter open and you try once again to speak, but when nothing comes out, you let out a sob. Steve hands you a mirror and you see why. He had cut out your toungue. You began freaking out. You could still feal it there.

"It'll be okay. I promise. Stark must be able to figure something out!" He says hopefully.

Steve, we're talking about my toungue here. Not much can be done, you sign.

"Never stopped him from anything else," He laughs.

You come out of the flashback in a crying mess. Of course this was today. How could you forget? You were reduced to a signing, soulmateless mess after that day.

"Miss _____, I would like to remind you that Thor is bringing Loki around today for the official meeting. Will you be attending?" Jarvis asks.

Probably not. Will you tell everyone for me? You sign.

"Of course miss. Would you like me to be the one to tell you where his room will be located?"

No, that's okay. I'll figure it out later. You smile.

You fall asleep shortly after that encounter.

"Miss, I don't mean to interrupt but Captain Rodgers would like me to tell you that it's dinner time," Jarvis says, waking you.
