She's the sweetest person you'll ever meet
A sun beam from the most important star in our world.

Her voice is sweet like honey,
Her eyes like twinkling stars,
Her smile is the most contagious thing you've ever seen,
Her arms are warm enough to make you think you're being held by something far larger than her small frame,
Her words aged far beyond her youth

But

Her voice sometimes trembles from the troubles of her past,
Her eyes have dulled from the rains that fall from them,
Her smile fades when everyone's eyes turn away,
Her arms are scarred and bleed under those sleeves
Her words were her experiences from years of pain and grief

So that happy young girl, may not be so happy or young in her head.

And when you have the love of a girl like her, then you hold on to it for as long as you can. You hold it gently but firm like a boiling cup of water filled so close to the brim because yes it is warm, but walk too fast, lose sight of it, let it go, or shake it up just one quick time and you spill it. And it will burn you and you can never ever get back that same cup of water, that same love she gave you in the first place.

Water is the easiest thing to compare to love like hers. A very small percent of fresh water, true love like hers, exists. People take it and waste it and treat it like it will be here forever in the same way it was always there before.

Waste it and it's gone. No getting it back, the love, the water will never come back the same.
